Ye Zindagi
aj jo tumhare
badan ki choti-bari nason mein
machal rahi hai
tumhare pairon se chal rahi hai
tumhari avaz mein Gale se nikal rahi hai
tumhare lafzon mein Dhal rahi hai

ye zindagi
jane kitani sariyon se
yun hi shaklen
badal rahi hai

badalati shaklon
badalate jismon mein
chalata-phirata ye ik sharara
jo is ghari
nam hai tumhara
isi se sari chahal-pahal hai
isi se roshan hai har nazara

sitare toro ya ghar basao
qalam uthao ya sar jhukao

tumhari ankhon ki roshni tak
hai khel sara

ye khel hoga nahi dubara
ye khel hoga nahi dubara
