Jab bhi tanha baithe hum,

Khyal tera hi jahan me aaya,

Ab is se badhkar wafa ki had kya hogi,

Ki har zarre mein Maine aks tera paya,

Jab kabhi chali baat teri e dost,

Jabt aansu kar gaye hum lekin Dil ko rota paya,

Kehte hai waqt har zakhm ko bhar deta hai lekin,

Jane kyon maine apne zakhm ko har waqt hara paya,

Tum toh chal diye chhod kar tanha mujhko lekin,

Aankon ko har pal tere intezar mein bichha paya
