Aziz itna hii rakho k jee sambhal jaye
ab is qadar bhi na chaho k dam nikal jaye

mohabbatoN meN ajab hai diloN ka dhaRkaa saa
ki jaane kaun kahaan raasta badal jaaye

mile haiN yuuN to bohat, aao ab mileN yuuN bhii
ki ruuH garmii-e-infaas se pighal jaaye

maiN voh chiraaGh sar-e-raahguzaar-e-duniaa
jo apnii zaat kii tanhaaiyoN meN jal jaaye

zihe voh dil jo tamanna-e-taazah-tar meN rahe
Khushaa voh umar jo KhwaaboN meN hii bahal jaaye

har ek lahzaa yahii aarzuu yahii hasrat
jo aag dil meN hai woh sher meN bhii Dhal jaaye
