Fruit Bread
Ingredients: Soft milk/sweet bread - 2 slices
Milk - 4 tsp
Fresh honey - 2 tsp
Butter without salt (nutralite) - To taste
Canned mixed fruit - To taste
Condensed milk sweet (milk maid) - 12 tsp
Directions...
Take a can of fruits in syrup.
Open and take the bigger chunks of varied fruits from the can and wash away the syrup.
Take care to wash lightly and quickly. Avoid any cirus fruit.
Cut thin slices of the washed fruits.
Now take about 12 tsp of condensed milk (sweet) in a bowl.
Add 4 tsp of milk to it and mix well. This is done to reduce the consistency of the condensed milk to a dripping consistency.
Heat a non stick frying pan, shallow fry the two milk bread slices in butter till light brown.
The best way to do this is to apply butter lightly on both sides of the bread slice, instead of butter pour some ghee into the frying pan (butter tends to burn quickly)
and place the buttered slices in the warm ghee.
Keep the flame on medium and remove bread slice when light brown and not too crisp, this should take less than a minute.
Repeat with the second slice. Place the fried slices on a plate.
Pour the condensed milk over the bread slices. Pour enough for the mix to drip on the sides on its own.
Place the thinly sliced fruits in a colorful arrangement on each slice.
Use as many varieties as you can extract from the can.
Top it with a few slices of cherries. Fruits should be thin slices overlapping on each other, rather than big chunks or thick slices.
Drop some honey across the slice and over the fruits in a thin zig zag line.
Pure honey (meaning honey straight from farms) does not work well. use pure refined commercial honey like dabur or lions etc.
Serve warm by heating for 10 seconds in a micro wave or serve cold by refrigerating for a couple of hours (not chill tray or freezer). Keep away from weight watchers.
