Dard-e-dil ki kitaab hai Aahistaa se kholna
Harf se ashq tapkte hai Bataa ke kholna...

Guzre lamhe sab Hawa mai bikhar gaye hai
Mude din rakhe hai Safon ko ultaa ke kholna...

Jo deewaaron par Tanhaai ke aks bane hai
Darwaza ! sab lakire haath se mitaa ke kholna...

Waqt ke sirahane Adhure khwaab rahke hai
Neend ko palkon ke Bojh se hataa ke kholna...

Mujhe ko ab sukhe phool Mubarak lagte hai
Muthii band naseeb Haathon ko jataa ke kholna...
