Agar guftagu ka aghaaz mein karta
Jharaktee bigartee magar maan jaati

Jo mein barh kar us kay qadam rok leta
Woh paaon patakhtee magar maan jaati

Agar chaand kaliyaan usay paish karta
Woh daman jhataktee magar maan jaati

meri shokh batoon par khamosh rehti
Dopatta kutertee magar maan jaati

Woh ghussay may jo mujh say naraaz hoti
Bikharti tarapti magar maan jaati

Mein kehta keh parhnay ka choro bahana
Woh safhay palatti magar maan jaati

Jo kehta keh "rahon pe chaliye sambhaal kar"
Uchhalti matakti magar maan jaati...
