How often have you asked yourself if you are
A content person?
When I am feeling Overwhelmed,
I can only achieve contentment
If I stop striving to be the best.
I sometimes become afraid that if I don't
Always work at top speed or be the best
In everything I do, I will not be acceptable.
The definition of the word "contentment" is:
Peace of mind; happiness; satisfaction.
Is there ever a day when it is completely a
Day with all three of these adjectives?
I found out a long time ago, that things
Can not bring happiness, satisfaction and/ or
Peace of mind. All these bring to me is
Anxiety, worry, unhappiness and then I feel
Very ineffective in what I am doing.
There is a tremendous power in contentment,
Because when I am content with what I have
Or with what I am doing, I have this greet
Feeling of freedom.
If I desire real contentment, then let my
Ambitions come from serving God, my
Neighbor, improving my Spiritual life and
Making a difference in the world. This is
The only way I know I will find True Happiness.
God, just for today, let me find my
Contentment in You.
