Har haseen chehray se badhker pyara laga mujhe
Woh shakhs ajnabi tha per apna laga mujhe

Yeh kis ney mujhe mujh sey hi dour ker diya
Bus eik pal mein har apna paraya laga mujhe

Yeh kya hua key har soo bikhrey hazar rang
Sab kuch wahi hai per kyun naya sa laga mujhe

Uss ney kaha tha saath chalein gey tammam umer
Agar such tha woh to aaj kyun, beygana laga mujhe

Ajab si tashangi thi uss ki aankhoun mein chuppi hui
Har shidatoun key saath woh deewana laga mujhe

Ta deyr kaun ruka hai kisi key liyay
Abb souchoun bhi to har qissa , fasaana laga mujhe
