Funkaar hai toh haath pay sooraj saja kay la
Bujhta hua diya na muqaabil hawa kay la

Darya ka inteqaam dabo day na ghar tera
Saahil say roz roz na kankar utha kay la

Samaan wafa kay baandh magar soch soch kar
Is ibteda mai yun na sakhat inteha kay la

Thori si aur mauj mai aa, ayee hawa-e-gul
Thori si uskay jism ki khushboo chura kay la

Gar sochna hai ehl-e-mashiyaat kay hauslay
Maidan say ghar mai ek mayyat utha kay la

*Mohsin* ab uska naam hai sab ki zabaan par
Kis nay kaha tha usko ghazal mai saja kay la
