maiN dard ki yaadeiN vo puraanii nahi rakhti
apne zehan meiN koi kahaanii nahi rakhti

biite hue lamhoN ko bhulana hi munaasib
guzre hue kal ki maiN rawaanii nahi rakhti

aihsaan mere dil pe kyoN karta hai iss Qadar
laalach meiN kii achhayii bhi maanii nahi rakhti

kah jata hai kaajal mera ashQoN ki kahaani
ghum laakh ho aaNkhoN meiN maiN paanii nahi rakhti

tuu apne jhoothe waade tere saath le ke ja
maiN bhoolne waaloN ki nishanii nahi rakhti
