Shabb-e-kheeraH maiN
chandni ne kiaa sitm dhayaa he
Gulaab ke phooouN pe
shajjar kaa saayaa he
dill kii aik bastii he
yadouN kaa aik jangal he
hum jugnoo dhondanay nikle haiN
hum noorii nahiiN hum naarii haiN
hum roshnii ke pujarii haiN
kuch gaam pe apni manzil he
roshan roshan taare haiN
chaand shab ka saathii he
yaadouN ko ju ek jangal he
iss maiN ek jheel bhi he
jheel ke us paar ek daldal he
phir kuH saarouN kaa silsilaa he
kuH saarouN pe pariiyaaN rehti haiN
ye deo malaaii qisse haiN
khuwaab kii ek nagri he
ham haqiqat dhoNdanay nikle haiN
ham jaugnoo dhondanay niklae haiN

shab e kheerah maiN chandni ne
kiaa sitm dhayaa he
gulaab ke phoulouN pe
shajjar kaa aik saayaa he
Khuda Khuda ker ke
hashar talaa he
amshab ka chand
sawa naize pe uter aayaa he.
