"محبّت قدرت کی طرف سے ودیعت ہوتی ہے۔ جس کو آپ سے محبّت نہیں ہے، آپ چاند تارے بھی توڑ کر لائیں تو وہ آپ سے محبّت کر ہی نہیں سکے گا۔ کسی بھی انسان کے پیچھے پاگل ہونے سے صرف اپنا نقصان ہوتا ہے۔ اسی طرح جو لوگ انتقام کی آگ میں جلتے ہیں وہ بدلہ لینے کے بعد بھی خوشی حاصل نہیں کر سکتے۔ انتقام تو کسی دوسرے کی بربادی ہوتا ہے، یہ بھلا کسی کو خوشی کیسے دے سکتا ہے ؟"
