Mera sawan b tum ho meri pyas b tum ho
sehra ki baho me chupi aas b tum ho
tum u to buhat door buhat door ho mujh se
ehsas ye hota hai mere pas b tum ho
har zakham ki aaghosh me hai dard tumhara
har dard me taskeen ka ehsas b tum ho
kho jao to veeran c ho jati hai rahein
mil jao to phir jeene ka ehsas b tum ho
likhta ho to tum hi utarte ho qalam se
parhta ho to lehja b tum awaz b tum ho.
