Baray shauq se, Baray chaao se mai ne naam tera rakha wafa
Mere hum-nasheen mere hum-nawa, tu ne ki magar wafa nahi

Teri yaad me hon dar-ba-dar tujhe dhoondta mai shehar shehar
Kisi aur ka na mai ho saka, Jab tu hi mujh ko mila nahi..

Kal raat meri chaand se baaten teri hoti rahin
Wo bhi raat bhar jaagta raha, mai bhi raat bhar soya nahi
