Safar Mein Guzri Hai Umar Apni, Ab Ik Thikana Chahiye,
Ke Zinda Rehne Ko Koi To Bahana Chahiye,

Koi To Ho Jo In Rasmon Se Elaan-E-Baghawat Kare,
Kahi To Andhere Mein Koi Chirag Jalana Chahiye,

Kab Se Veeran Pada Hai Ye Aaina–E–Dil,
Sochta Hoon Ab Koi Naya Chehra Sajana Chahiye,

Bohat Muddat Se Muntazir Hai Mere Desh Ki Matti,
Shayad Ke Ab Mujhe Lout Ke Ghar Jana Chahiye,

Mujhe FaQat Usi Ke Sath Ki Tamana Thi
Magar Use Mere Sath-Sath Sara Zamana Chahiye.
