خیالِ یار کو عہدِ جنوں میں کیا کیجئے
شبِ فراق گزر جائے یہ دعا کیجئے

بچھڑنا ان کا قیامت سے کم نہیں لوگوں
نہ زندگی کو میری مجھ سے یوں جدا کیجئے

طوالتِ شبِ ہجراں ہے اور یاد ان کی
کبھی تو قربتِ جاناں ہمیں عطا کیجئے

مرض رہا ہی نہیں ہے علاج کے قابل
دوا نہیں ہے کوئی اب فقط دعا کیجئے

جہانِ زیست نظر کا فریب ہے مولا
گزاری نہیں جاتی یہ عمر اب قضا کیجئے
