Udaas shamon mai lot kr wo aana bhol jata tha,

Kar k khafa mujhko manana bhol jata tha,

Inhi khaslaton ne uski mujhe badnam kar dala,

Wo likh k naam dewaron pe mitana bhol jata tha,

Mat poch muhabat mai la parwahi uski,

Dy k zakham wo marham lagana bhol jata tha,

Kitna dilnasheen hota tha uski yaad ka manzar,

Wo jb b yaad aata tha zamana bhol jata tha.
