ek pagal se ladki dhoop mai hans hans je behlaaae
naach na jane aangan taidha thokhar kha kha jae

naram naram sa bister uska garam garam se hont
sharam sharam se marti jae jab rain saaja aee

yaas ki andhiari nagri mai aaas ka joban dekho
jaise daur khadi ek goori ghonghat mai muskae

zakhm zakhm mai uski yaaden bhool bhool ke aaye
phool phool mai uska chehra apni chab dikhlae

aurh ke ujle dhoop ke chadar chaand nagri ke choori
daur khari muskae goori mere pass na aaye
