Chaandni raat maiN kirano ka nazaara karna
Chaand dil karna tau jazboN ko sitaara karna

Raat bhar khwab maiN neend aati nahi hay mujh ko
Khwab maiN aana muhabat ka ishaara karna

chale aao tumheN pakloN pe bithayeN ham bhi
Saari dunia se bas us pal ko kinaara karna

raat tanhaai ke aalm main to yaad aata hay
chaand ko daikh kay kab tak hay guzaara karna

Aarzu hay meri jab marte huway girne lagooN
us ghaRi bahoN ka ik baar tum sahaara karna

yaad aaye jo meri bhool kay zulmi saajan
pyar se gaoN kay rastoN pe pukaara karna
