Mint and Masoor Tikkis

Ingredients:


1 cup Whole Red lentils
1/2 cup Mint- finely chopped
2 tsp Ginger- garlic paste
4 tsp Wheat breadcrumbs
4 tbsp grated low fat Paneer
2 tsp Oil
Salt to taste


Method:

1.Soak the red lentils with 2 cup of water overnight and drain it.
2.Pressure cook the lentils with 2 cup of watte until lentil is soft and slightly overcooked.
3.Drain the lentil and grind into coarse paste.
4.Add the ground paste with the remaining ingredients and mix well.
5.Make round balls out of the above mixture and flatten it.
6.Heat oil in medium heat and cook the tikkis both sides for 1-2 minutes until turns brown.
7.Serve with mint chutney or tomato chutney.
