Woh pathar dil sahi hamara bhi ye dawa hai
Hamaray lab jinhe chu le wo pathar bol utte

Raaz-e-hasti kuch nahi aksar yehi dekha gia
Be-khabar hanste rahe aur ba-khabar rote rahe

Me khanay ki tauheen hai rindo ki hatak
Kam zarf ke haath me agar jaam diya jayai

Hum karain baat daleelon se to rud hoti hai
Is ke honton ki khamoshi bhi sanad hoti hai

Abhi mitti na khunki thi abhi paani na barsa tha
Magar bazm-e-anasir me tere hone ka charcha tha

Ek ajeeb sa manzar nazar aata hai,
Har ek qatra samandar nazara aata hai,

Kahan banaaon main ghar sheeshey se,
Har kisi ke hath mein pathar nazar aata hai..
