Na tha kuch to khudi tha kuch na hota to khuda khuda hota

Daboya mujh ko hone ne, na hota main to kia hota

Hua gham se yun behis k gham kia sar k katne ka

Na hota gar juda tan se to zano par dhara hota

...

Hui mudat k ghalib mar gaya par yad ata hai

Wo har ik baat pe kehna ke yun hota to kia hota
