Kia kia baaten woh apni tehreer main likhti hai
Ek nayi takdeer meri takdeer main likhti hai
Woh aisi hamdard ke apne pyar ke saaray lafz
Mere haathon ki lakeer main likhti hai
Koi raaz chupana shayad pasand nahi usay
Woh apna har khawab khuli tabeer main likhti hai
Main us ka ek man-chaha qaidi hoon isi liye
Naam mera woh zulfon ki zanjeer main likhti hai
Bol uthay ek ek taassur us ke chehre se
Saari kahani woh apni tasveer main likhti hai
Khoob chehakti hai woh khat ke pehle hissay main
Lekin dil ki sachi baat aakhir main likhti hai
Jis khoobi se pehchana jaye koi shakhs
Qudrat woh khoobi us ke khoon-e-khameer main likhti hai
