Kabhi in hawaoon pe mera guzar tha
Mohabat ki wadi main chota sa ghar tha

Khushboo thi raaton main rani ki taza
Jugnoo they chanda tha kaisa sehar tha

Geet gaatay they punchi khushiyoun kay aksar
Masti main dooba yeh sara shaher tha

Wo kaliyon kay jhurmat main chehra gulaabi
Zulfain theen aisi kay chaya abar tha

Na rasmain na duniyaan zamanay ki baatain
Wo pal zindagee ka bara bay fikar tha

Mager kya karain kay muqadar say shaiki
Mila wo nahi jo noor-e-nazar tha
