Na Gubaar mein na gulaab mein mujhe dekhna
mere dard kii aab-o-tab mein mujhe dekhna

kisii vaqt shaam e malaal mein mujhe sochna
kabhii apane dil kii kitaab mein mujhe dekhna

kisii dhun mein tum bhii jo bastiyon ko tyaag do
isii rah-e-Khaanaa_Kharaab mein mujhe dekhna

kisii raat maah-o-najuum se mujhe pucchna
kabhii apanii chashm pur_aab mein mujhe dekhna

isii dil se ho kar guzar gaye kain karvaN
kisi hijraton ke zaab mein mujhe dekhnaa

main na mil sakuN bhi to kya hua ke fasana huN
nai daastaaN naye baab mein mujhe dekhnaa

mere haar haar savaal mein mujhe DhuNDhna
mere geet mein mere Khvaab mein mujhe dekhna

mere aaNsuon ne bujhaai thii merii tashnagii
isii barg_ziidaa sahaab mein mujhe dekhnaaa

vahii ik lamhaa deed thaa ke rukaa rahaa
mere roz-o-shab ke hisaab mein mujhe dekhna

jo tarap tujhe kisii aiine mein na mil sake
to phir aiine ke javaab mein mujhe dekhnaa
