Mohabbat ki baat thi na nafrat ki baat thi
Marne chale the jis pey saddaqat ki baat thi

Sanam se mila jahan gham ka silsala
Zikar aapka na tha meri halat ki baat thi

Unki batoon mein tha zehar sa kion ghula
Le lo kasam jo lub pe sikayat ki baat thi

Ek kanta sa dil mein chubhaa or chubh ke reh gaya
Zehamat hum kis ko detey nadamat ki baat thi
