khushboo main basa hoa yeh lehja
dastak mere dil main de raha hay
or dhund raha hay mere andar
ek shakhy bahar rang jis par
ikrar ke phool khil rehain hun!

main kese karon yeh dar koshada
is par to woh kafal par chuka hay
jis ke liye sare isam bekar
yeh mere sitare ki tarhan hay
tarekh' udas' ger abad!

e mere khuda' mere badan main
himat nahi ab shkistigi ki
sheshay ki tarhan hay is ka dil b
ek thas se tutnay ka dar hay

malik hay tu aab-o-bad -o-gul ka
kadir hay hamari kismaton par
itni si dua hay meri tuj se
ya is ke arady ko badal de!
ya mere stare ko badal de!
