Kya khabar tum ko dosti kya hai,
Ye roshni bhi hai andhera bhi hai,
Khwahishon se bhara jazeera bhi hai,
Bohat anmol ik heera bhi hai.

Sher bhi, nazam bhi, geet bhi dosti hai,
Wafa kia hai wafa bhi dosti hai,
Dil se nikli dua bhi dosti hai,
Ab aur kya kahoon, bus itna samajh le tu,
Jo pyar log karte hain,
Uski inteha bhi dosti hai.
