Muje gale se laga lo buhat udas houn mein
Gham-e-Jahan se chuda lo buhat udas houn mein

Ye intezar ka dukh ab saha nai jata
Muje paas bula lo buhat udas hun mein

Meri har sans mein milne ki pyaas palti ha
Sulagh raha ha BadaN our roh jalti ha

Bacha sako tu bacha lo buhat udaas houn mein
Bhatak chuka houn buhot zindagi ki rahon mein

Muje aa k chupa lo tum apni baahon mein
Bin tere mar na jayon kahin

Mera sawal na taalo buhat udaas houn mein

Agar wo pochin tu un se kehna un ka aashiq basta tha yehan
Dikhana un ko wo peepal ka peid
our kehna gaane wo tenhai mein gungunata tha yehan
Le jana un ko darwaze pe our kehna intezar
wo kiya karta tha yehan
Phir rakhna ungli dil pe our kehna
Shikayat karta tha k dard hota ha yehan
