Dil kisay dee yaad vich rondaa rehaa,
Daag apnay dil day main dhondaa rehaa,

Tur paye oh aun gay main taangh vich,
Ghar daa booha kholda dhondaa rehaa,

Ikk pall vee mil na sakiyaa dil nu chain,
Gamm dee chakki umar bhar jhondaa rehaa,

Hijjar vich hanjhu hee main kerey nhi,
Khoon see nainaa chon jo chondaa rehaa,

Ikk pall vee na eh hassiya gareeb,
Terey gamm vich tadphdaa rondaa rehaa.
