shaakh pe phool phir khil jaaye gaa
chalk-e-damen bhi sill jaaye gaa

aaj ye ho giaa kal youN ho jaaye gaa
dill ka kiaa he palta he pal jaaye gaa

ab aur kia ye tumhari tamnna kare
be chain dil youNhi sanbhal jaaye gaa

hath pe hath dharay reh jaaeN ge
aur waqat hath se nikal jaaye gaa

Haye ye khota sikka bhi waheed
waqat aaye gaa chal jaaye gaa
