meri zindagi band kitaab hai
jaha pyaray dostoo ka saath hai

jaha bin badaltay hai rastay
jaha mila mujhay apno ka saath hai

jaha dil ki zabaan boltay meray alfaaz hai
waha kyu gham meray saath hai

jaha khushiyo ki baraat hai
wahi ansoo ki barsaat hai

jaha dost nibhatay hai saath mera
waha kyu ek dar meray saath hai

jaha chand ki roshni lagti hai bhali
phir kyu chand lagta udaas hai

meri zindagi band kitaab hai
