well nice topic junaid. and its a very common thinking even of those people wo have such relations and do the same think like this.
But it again only a personal thinking. you or me cant make it a general fact.
Well let us consider a chatting place technically and logically.
Do you ever joined a community club in ur real life as ppl think its a virtual life. if yes then you must have ppl there u chat share thought and make friends. What the difference........ You see them in real infront of you. You can grab them hold them touch them feel them ? here its a bit difficult so i think it much safer isnt it ?
secondly do u have ur own ethics ? You mean anybody who chat... dont take it personally
do you have ur own image ?
do u wanna earn ppl respect ?
if yes then it doesnt matter the u r joining an online community or a real one. you must care of your own image .

know their liking disliking etc
sometime get inspired. sometime it converts into good realtionship some time more then a friendship. Ppl often get married from here. what the diff if i like a girl who in ma univeristy or in my office or in my real world is it fine and if i like girl whom i met here on chat its cheating. WHY ?
because i cant see her physically first
it all depends upon how u take it .
if i wanna flirt i will do it in real world . When internet was no common ppl used to flirt n they do now as well . and who dont flirt . never did it here .
Men and women has an attraction naturally . We cant deny it even in real world or here. Girl might think themselves safe here as the other person cant reach them but it gives another point to chat room .
bottom line
ITS NOT CHEATING BUT ITS ONLY HOW U PRESENT URSELF AND ARE U STRONG ENOUGH IN ETHICALLY THAT U CANT TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE SITUATION AND PEOPLE AROUND U.
