Unofficial results: Kulsoom Nawaz wins NA-120 by-election

Punjab News: LAHORE, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidate Begum Kulsoom Nawaz won the closely contested by-election for her husband Nawaz Sharif’s home seat NA-120. According to unofficial and unverified results, Kulsoom Nawaz managed to attain 61,254 votes, while her competitor, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf’s Dr. Yasmin Rashid attained 47,066 votes. Earlier, the polling in the crucial bye-election of the NA-120 was held amid strict security without any reports of major issues. The voting process, which began at 08:00 am continued till 05:00 pm without any break and extension in voting time.Punjab News
