KARACHI: Former mayor of Karachi Mustafa Kamal lashed out at Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on his dramatic return to the city and announced to form a new party.

Formaer mayor of Karachi in his press conference lashed out at the MQM Chief and leveled serious allegations on him.

During his media talk he also burst into tears and formally announced to form a new political party which he said is yet to be named. He raised a Pakistani flag and said it is the official emblem of his newly launched organisation.

“Today we are laying the foundation of an organisation, you may call it a party. We are just two individuals, myself and Anees Qaimkhani.

Making startling revelations, he said Altaf Hussain has become sahib (boss) from bhai (brother), adding that he doesn’t care about anyone.

“Altaf Hussain doesn’t care about anyone but himself”, he said. When Scotland Yard raided houses of Raabta Committee members, everything became clear”.

The former mayor asked why can’t MQM chief come clean to party’s followers just like he did to the Scotland Yard.

He further said that Altaf Hussain poses as this innocent person who is painted as bad by establishment, adding that the innocent followers actually believed their community is being subjected to crimes sponsored by state just on their chief’s urging.

Mustafa Kamal told reporters that today s press conference is based on three points. He said he will reveal that why he and Anees Qaimkhani quit Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) left Pakistan in 2013. Why is he in Pakistan now and what will he do now.

“I had been a senator for a few months when I left my position, usually those who leave the MQM are kicked out but we left of our own accord,” he said.
