Surah 50 QAAF-The Quran is a vector that points humanity in the direction that adds value to it
This surah is named with letter QAAF. The letter could stand for QURAN but if we take is as a word from root QAAF, ALIF and FAA then it means the world or worldwide or highest or largest pointer or vector that is visible from anywhere as a landmark which could be used for reference purposes as a locater or guide. In a way it is telling us the Quran is a universal guide for mankind which points people in the right direction for their unity, peace, progress and prosperity therefore it adds ultimate value to humanity should it follow it. This surah seems to be self explanatory so not much needs to be said about it. It is telling people to be alert to changes that will take place ie the world will either move to Islamic way of life or it will move away from it or it will split therefore some will establish divine kingdom and others will end up harming and destroying themselves and as a result for them will come time of upheavals till they end up destroyed or change their way of life. A strange thing this surah talks about is the opening up of the world for mankind ie research and exploration of the universe. That is the time when mankind will be find easier to convince each other about living a life based upon the Quran. A clear proof that ignorant people are difficult to educate to the level the Quran requires for its understanding. In other words people will become united once they have educated themselves out of their ignorance. It shows how important is education in light of the Quran and human experience, so all those who try to keep people ignorant cannot be friends of humanity because they are responsible for prolonging human suffering by keeping people ignorant therefore useless for themselves and others. This surah ends with telling the messenger keep spreading the message as much as you can, working hard day and night. People cannot unite unless they have a reason to do so this is why the Quranic message provides that reason that humanity needs. This also tells us that unless we understand this message ourselves and are convinced about its truth and its value for humanity it means absolutely nothing. The less number of people get involved in spread of this message the longer it will take humanity to educate itself and if there is opposition as well than that increases the problem yet more many folds. So job of prophets was a tough one and that shows what kind of people these men were. The very fact that these people were able to influence their people in such short time is very difficult to explain if not altogether impossible.
Proclaim! In the name of Allah, the provider of psychological, sociological and biological needs of mankind,
1] QAAF. The Quran is the evidence that it can lead mankind to glorious life,
2] yet they think it strange that there has come to them an alerter about this fact from among themselves so those who oppose Our guidance say, this is a strange thing
3] that after we have fallen and are lying in dust as a people we are to rise to glory, such a return to glory is far from possible.
4] We surely make obvious all the defects in socio-political and socioeconomic landscape therefore We have sent the book from Us to secure blissful and dignified life for mankind.
5] Yet instead of accepting the message that is consistent with real world realities they refuse it because they are a confused people.
6] Why do they not observe the cosmic space that surrounds them and figure out how We have caused it to come about and adorned it, should they do that, they will find no inconsistency between purpose for which it is created and the actual creation?
7] And why do they not observe the earth and figure out how We have expanded it in a way that we have raised masses above its surface as land and mountains and caused to grow in it every kind of beautiful growth from the very same tree of life?
8] All these things are eye-opening evidences for people who will observe them and reflect on them to learn lessons from them and turn to Allah for guidance as to how to live properly in this world in hope of better future.
9] We send down water from the heaven in abundance for prosperity of mankind with which We bring forth gardens and the harvest grain,
10] and tall palm trees laden with clusters of dates, piled one over the other,
11] a sustenance for the creatures whereby We give life to dead land and people. That is how the fallen nations rise up inspired by Our revelations.
12] Before these people, the people of Noah and the dwellers of Ar-Rass denied benefits of this truth to themselves and so did Thamud,
13] Aad, Pharaoh and the brethren of Lot,
14] the dwellers of Al-Aiykah and the people of Tubba, all of them opposed their messengers and thus brought upon themselves forewarned painful life making it a reality.
15] Were Our set-up systems and laws overwhelmed by behaviour of Our earlier human creatures that they are in doubt that We will not be able to handle things in relation to future generations of human creatures?
16] We surely evolved man in such a way that We make obvious motives that arise in his mind through his actions, so that Our guidance proves very fundamental for his blissful and dignified existence.
17] For that reason We bestowed man with two cerebral hemispheres, one seated on his right and the other on his left.
18] Not a single thought he expresses but his awareness along with Our guidance helps him keep within set limits.
19] Because unawareness of things that bring destruction can prove destruction a reality. That is something you would rather stay away from.
20] That is how We breathe awareness into unaware minds, because that is the way coming about of forewarned period can be avoided.
21] Therefore every person will come forth with his driving force that bears witness to the way he lived.
22] You the mankind were indeed unaware of this but We removed your cover of ignorance through Our revelation so that your perception is sharp about coming of this time period.
23] Therefore each victim of every perpetrator of crime will say at that time, here is my statement ready with me about his crimes.
24] So throw into hell every stubborn enemy of guidance of Allah and well being of humanity,
25] the one who stopped any act that could help humanity grow and prosper, who breached set limits himself and caused suspicion and confusion in minds of others against each other,
26] who took on the role of a ruler against advice of Allah so throw him into painful suffering that is severe.
27] His victim will also say, our Creator and Sustainer, I did not provoke him to transgress the limit rather he pumped up himself to breach the set limits.
28] Such people will be told by Our administrators at the time when Our kingdom becomes established, do not dispute with each other in presence of Our guidance because I alerted you all already about coming of this period of time.
29] My set-up systems and laws do not change nor do I inflict harm and destruction upon My human creatures.
30] At that time We will ask people living in hell of their own making, have you had enough? And they will say, is there yet more of this kind of life for us?
31] Blissful kingdom will also be at hand no longer a distant dream for those who are consistent with Our guidance and between themselves,
32] and they will be told, here is blissful kingdom you were promised. It is for every person who turned to guidance of Allah for security of his own existence,
33] who was mindful of the Master of universe in the hope of better future and came to His guidance with fully committed mind.
34] He will be told, enter it in peace and security, this is the day of entry into blissful and dignified life.
35] Therein they will have all that they will wish for and We will have with Us yet more to offer them.
36] Be aware about how many generations of rulers with yet more absolute authority on masses have We let destroy themselves before these people who rule! They wandered about in their kingdoms but found no escape from Our set-up systems and laws to save them from consequences of their own actions?
37] Surely in all this there is a lesson to observe and learn from for every person who has a conscious mind and can hear and see.
38] We created the heavens and the earth and all that lies in between them in consistent stages yet no fatigue touched Us.
39] O prophet therefore put up with them steadfastly whatever they say and do, and keep on working hard from dawn to dusk for manifesting glory of sovereignty of your Master in the world.
40] And even during part of the night also, strive hard to manifest His glory and remain constantly submitted to His guidance with consistency.
41] And look out for the day when the caller for uprising will call out from a place quite near,
42] the day when people will heed the call for mighty upheavals turning it into a reality. That will be the day the people will come forth.
43] Surely it is We Who give life to nations by inspiring them and let them perish when they ignore Our advice because it was up to Us to set goal for mankind,
44] The day the world becomes open to them that will the time when bringing them together for Our goal will be quite easy for Us.
45] We make evident what these opponents of Our guidance express through their words and deeds. You O messenger are not there to compel them to accept Our message. However admonish with this Quran every person you can so that any who wishes to heed Our warning may do so willingly.
Surah 51 AL-ZAARIYAAT–The parties that need to be despatched for broadcasting this message throughout the world so that blissful kingdom could be brought about by mankind
This surah is named AL-ZAARIYAAT from root ZAAL, RAA and WOW. Concrete meaning of this root is ways and means that give rise to things and spread them for some end goal eg winds raise clouds and spread them to provide fresh water for living things. People take hold of information and spread it or broadcast it so that end goal could be achieved. Windy storms raise clouds of dust and leafs etc and spread them etc etc.
This surah is named AL-ZAARIYAAT because the Quran talks about a movement for establishing a goal ie a blissful kingdom for mankind to live in it a blissful and dignified life. This calls for a message that must be understood and spread so that people could then bring about that sort of kingdom by working together towards that end. Once this kingdom comes about then humanity is to move on to next goal which is to spread throughout the universe by creating similar kingdoms in other galaxies and planets. All this requires a very committed people who need to be highly knowledgeable as well as united and peaceful, progressive and prosperous. A people who have highly creative minds who use that creativity to achieve the set goals by doing the tasks need to be done. If people will not educate themselves about this mission and its message then they will always remain in painful suffering by inflicting atrocities upon each other because that is how living things behaves that live a life of less than animal level instead of rising above it by degrees.
Proclaim! In the name of Allah, the provider of psychological, sociological and biological needs of mankind,
1] We call upon you to organise parties for delivery of Our program
It should be noted that many verses in the Quran give rise to parallel concepts and these verses also do that. Here these verses are telling mankind to look at natural world how organised and regulated it is because it is set for a purpose so it works towards that end. After that people are told to look at their human world and see how disorganised and unregulated world it is. The message in these like verses is telling mankind to copy nature and organise and regulate properly so that humanity could solve its facing problems and could therefore have a blissful and dignified existence. For this reason people must take message of the Quran seriously and keep understanding it properly and spreading it generation after generation throughout the world.
2] so that they carry along the message to deliver it widely
3] so that through their courageous activities they bring prosperity to humanity
4] by distributing information about Our set goals
5] surely what you are told is to come to pass
6] that the program, constitution and law of Allah is to become established.
7] We put forth as evidence the human world that was united but became divided
8] because you people surely went your own ways
These verses are also telling us that universe once upon a time was a single mass that then split up and formed galaxies and solar systems that keep serving their purposes. Likewise humanity despite being spread throughout the universe will work as a single unit because so it will become interconnected as human develop continues.
9] but the fact is ignorant and arrogant people always move away from the proper goal by way of their own baseless inventions.
10] Bad news always awaits those who put themselves on a path to harm and destruction by following self created harmful and destructive goals.
11] Those who hand over themselves to ignorance and arrogance
12] They ask, how far is the day when the program, constitution and law of Allah that you tell us about will become established?
13] Say, it will become established during the time when the fire of hatred between them will be at its peak and they will realise the need for it
14] because they will be told by their victims, taste the consequences of your actions! This is what you wanted us to work hard for to hurry it up.
15] As to those who will become consistent with guidance of Allah and humanity, they will end up in kingdoms full of all that they will need and desire,
16] because they will joyfully carry out the program of their Lord that he has given them. They will achieve all that because they will live their lives for the benefit of each other thus making life of each other beautiful.
17] They will rest but a little during the period of darkness of ignorance, harm and destruction
18] so that by working hard in order to protect themselves they could establish the kingdom of their Lord as soon as possible
19] through sharing the work load with those who rightfully share their desire for it because they have been made homeless and dispossessed without any justification.
In verses like this we are left in no doubt that any way of life based upon concept of some people dominating others will go so far as to make others totally dispossessed through keep undermining the weaker people in human population. This is why the way of life told for mankind by the Quran does not allow such rivalries and animosities therefore there is no animosity or hatred. All people live for each other ie mutual growth and prosperity. This is why emphasis on proper planning and doing things properly by organising and regulating people and things properly.
20] So in the world before your very eyes there are plenty of such evidences for those who would bother to verify them to attain certainty for joining this campaign,
21] Moreover you do not need to look far for such evidences because they are found even among your own people, so can you not see?
22] Therefore it is very clear for you to see that security of your sustenance clearly lies in establishing the blissful and dignifying kingdom and that is what you are promised and advised to campaign for.
23] So by the evidence of the testimony of the Lord of the heaven and the earth what you are taught is the right course of action for you and that is going to be your own very conclusion about whole this affair once you study the situation for yourselves.
24] Has the story of dignitaries from strong nations reached you that surrounded Abraham to help him out?
25] When they entered upon his invitation they said, we offer our services to work with you for peace, he said, I accept your offer for working with me for peace. They were people who stood against things harmful and destructive for humanity in that region.
26] That is why he turned to them about his own people and brought to their attention some main concerns about the ruling system in that place.
27] That is how he placed his reservations about it before them saying, why don’t you do something about it?
28] That is because he was fearful about their self destruction and that is how he showed his concern about them. The dignitaries assured him saying, have no worries and they gave him good news of an assistant for his mission endowed with information and understanding.
If we read the Quran carefully, it talks about many attributes of Allah and the purpose of these is, people should develop such qualities in themselves as creatures of Allah. For example, Allah is wise so people should become wise by learning wisdom. Allah is just so people should also become just in dealing with each other. Allah is creator and mankind should also try to be creative etc etc.
29] That is how his nation could be brought out of its state of inactivity after it was set up a goal to accomplish even though it said about itself, an unproductive and a lazy nation.
30] But the dignitaries said, even so that can be changed as explained by your Lord in his revelation to you, surely He is wise and He makes obvious results of peoples’ own actions in due course.
31] Abraham asked, O envoys, what is your assessment of this whole affair?
32] They replied, just now we are despatched by our chief administrator to take care of people involved in criminal activities,
33] in order to shift them from life of crime to a productive life
34] as it was set out for such transgressors by your Lord in His message.
35] That is how We get out of life of transgression and rebellion those who commit to working for peace, progress and prosperity of mankind.
36] That is how We find a community wherein no one lives without submitting to divine program, constitution and law.
37] And We have kept alive therein a lesson for those who will keep in their minds the life of painful suffering and will make efforts to keep it away.
38] There is another kind of lesson in story of Moses when We sent him to Pharaoh with clear proof,
39] but he turned his back to Our message along with his chiefs saying, he is either a conspirator or a man talking nonsense.
40] So in due course We found him and his supporters caught up in sea of results of their own actions, that is why he deserved much of the blame.
41] There is a reminder in story of Aad because We let loose against their chiefs a blighting wind of revolt
42] that uprooted everything rotten to the core.
43] Likewise there is a clear warning in story of Thamud when it was said to their chiefs, enjoy yourselves for a while
44] because they transgressed against program, constitution and law of their Lord and as a result they were overtaken by the thunderbolt of uprising the while they were looking on in a surprised way,
45] neither they could stand up against it ideologically nor could they fight against it physically.
46] And We let destroy themselves the chiefs of people of Noah before them because they opposed Our rule.
47] All that happened because it is We who have originated the universe through Our own capability and We are surely expanding it so it is through consistency with Our guidance mankind survive and do well.
48] Likewise We established the earth as a training ground for the human beings so go around in the universe and see how excellently We carried out all this work!
49] We have evolved everything into organised categories so that you the mankind could learn there from the lessons to do things likewise.
50] Say, rush therefore towards teaching of Allah, for that is clear proof for you that I am assigned the mission by Him as a plain warner to you all.
51] So do not set up any rule against the rule of Allah, surely I am assigned by Him as a duty to be a plain Warner to you all.
52] It has been the case that whenever a messenger came to a people before them, they said about him, He is a conspirator or a man who talks nonsense.
53] Is this the best legacy they could leave for their future generations? No, rather they could have done a lot better had they followed the heavenly advice but they were a rebellious people.
54] O Prophet therefore ignore the taunts of those who think not over your advice, for results of their transgressions against each other cannot be stopped by you on your own
55] so you should keep on educating them for their betterment, because guidance will benefit those of them will commit to working for peace, progress and prosperity of mankind.
56] That is because We have created the people who manage and people who are managed only for understanding, accepting and abiding by Our program, constitution and law for the benefit of each other.
57] We require no looking after by them nor do We ask that they do anything just to fulfil any of Our need,
These verses are of fundamental importance when it comes to understanding the real difference between DEEN of Allah and concepts invented by mullahs on behest of rulers and money lenders in form of baseless religious dogmas to entrap mankind in an unending circle of nonsense. Mullahs tell us Allah created JINN and INS for his worship. Worship to them means a concept practiced in form of rituals by Hindus, Parsis, Jews, Christians etc etc. It is all about asking for things of Allah all the time and praising Allah with words and with movements of body in a particular way.
This is not what these verses are telling us by use of wording nor it fits the wider context of this surah or even wider context of the Quran as a whole. By use of word IBAADAH Allah means something outside which one is not allowed to go. If word IBAADAH is taken as a worship ritual then that means Allah has not created man to do anything else but to keep worshiping Allah 24 hours a day and seven days a week. Doing anything other than that will count as sin because that will be time spent outside worship. This very clearly proves the point that taking Islam as a religion is therefore very wrong or false interpretation of the Quran. The Quran is full of stories about messengers of Allah and their people and in there we do not see anyone worshiping Allah this way. Instead there is a constant struggle going on between them and their opponents as to how to live their lives properly. So claiming the Quran is a religious holy is nothing less than lying about it for deceiving mankind. But why mullahs deceive mankind and particularly Muslims? It is because the way of life the Quran invites to does not suit people with ignorance based arrogance who rather compete and rise above others to dominate and control them to use and abuse them. Since the Quran stops people from doing that so these people found a way to derail the message of the Quran by making people focus on beating each other at the game. The result is the world full of atrocities by people against each other.
This is why all the Quranic interpretations based on religious concept of Islam are seriously wrong and oppose the very objective of the Quranic message. It is enough problem for a divine messenger to educate ignorant people and when people are led the wrong way the problem of educating people becomes much bigger and then adding to that more and more concepts that help confuse people expands problem to a much bigger level. For example, how many of us realise that for keeping people away from message of Allah mullahs have invented concept of miracles to make fool of ignorant people to keep them under their control through this trick because when people have been implanted wrong information about divine messengers in heads of masses then they become programmed to think that way and so they ask questions that they think are of importance instead of the right questions that fit the purpose. So when masses ask their God sent prophets for miracles and they tell them we are only here to deliver the message they take them as false prophets and that leaves them back in control of their rulers, so they keep using and abusing them. The Quran clearly tells us that each time a people asked a messenger of Allah for miracles he told them, I am only sent with a message to deliver and not to put on a magic show. The purpose of message is to help educate people out of their ignorance and once they are educated then they can see for themselves how the message proves its divine origin by fulfilling its purpose for revelation ie to guide humanity as to how it should live and what its goals should be and what are the guidelines according to which the set goals are to be achieved. So if anyone should ask any questions of divine messengers then they need to be of this nature, not about irrelevant things that have nothing to do with divine mission.
It is because the Quran sets goals and guidelines therefore human organisation and regulation becomes important and that is what is meant by word IBAADAH. This is why there is struggle in the world between mankind as to which way they should live their lives so that they could have the kind of lives they would love to live. This is why people who are busy worshiping graves of holy men are stupid and so are those who think holy men are those who sit and do nothing other than perform some nonsensical religious rituals in the name of God. The real test of humanity is its rising above animals by degrees. Animals do not worship each other do they? Do they bang their heads on the ground to please Allah? Instead they fulfil their purpose which is they are created for the benefit of mankind. It is because man is such a creature that is capable of benefiting of them to a much greater degree than any animal can benefit from another animal.
This is why religions are anti deen and that is how they need to be looked at. So long as people take harmful and destructive things as beneficial and constructive they can never get out of confusion and painful suffering. People must become aware of the tricks and mechanisms used by their users and abusers in form of politicians, money lenders and mullahs etc.
58] Because the fact is, it is Allah Who is sole provider of all sustenance for all, for He is the one with powers that cannot be undermined or overcome.
In these verses Allah makes it very clear that He does not need anything from people instead he gives them what they need so that they could create a blissful and dignified life for themselves in this vast universe. The magic of rulers, money lenders and mullahs etc needs to be understood if humanity wants to break free from their control and unless people learn things and do that there is no real struggle for freedom because the while humanity lives by way of life that itself is oppressive and suppressive they cannot have freedom from each other. How can anyone be free of one is used by rulers, money lenders and mullahs for their ends instead of realising goals for the good of humanity? Like a magician they draw peoples’ attention away from the trick and then do what they need to do to perform trick and people do not see the way they do their trick. Likewise mullahs draw people into religions and that leaves rulers free to do what they wish to do to people. This is why mullahs have created concept of charity because this way by contributing a little bit of what they make on backs of enslaved labour the rulers and money lenders could show off themselves as doers of good. This masks their harm and destruction they inflict on mankind through this set-up. If people were really good at heart then instead they will have adopted a way of life that will not have caused such a problem to begin with ie they will not have lived by a way of life that inflicts ignorance and poverty upon human race. This is how truth comes out and destroys falsehood as the Quran states. This is what makes the Quran dangerous for rulers, money lenders and mullahs if its message was not masked by mullahs and mullahs could not mask it unless gained something out of it by rulers and money lenders. This is why all these crooks work together to trap unsuspecting ignorance and simple minded masses.
59] So those who oppose Our program and installation of Our constitution and implementation of Our law thereby inflict harm and destruction on mankind are bound to receive their portion of painful suffering similar to the portion of their ideological predecessors, so it is better for them that they challenge no more Our set law of cause and effect in a negative way hurrying for their self destruction.
60] Or bad news is always there for those who oppose Our set goals and guidelines on the day of revolt against which they are being alerted!
Surah 52 AL-TOOR–The package as a program, constitution and law for unity, peace, progress and prosperity of mankind
This surah is named AL-TOOR from root TAA, WOW and RAA. It has been explained already but for reminder it has various meanings eg mountain, a comprehensive package, mass, something of huge importance or is very heavy or weighty or massive, way or manner of life, an art or technique for doing something, program, constitution, anchor, something that stabilises something or gives something solid foundation, an umbrella or canopy that provides shelter from harm and destruction. In the Quranic context the most important thing is program, constitution and law because it gives humanity the solid foundation to base the society upon or provides it with a framework for a way of life that is fit for proper human community towards the stated ultimate goal etc etc.
According to The Quran Allah set an initial goal for mankind to create peace throughout the world. In order to do so mankind are given the Quran as a divine manifesto for purpose of peace in order to spread it throughout the world so that if people like the program in the Quran for creating unity and peace then they come together and form a community based upon the Quran as its constitution and regulate their community by laws based on it. It is made very clear for mankind that unless they follow the guidelines given in the Quran peace will be impossible to bring about so people will keep on suffering as they always have been by living any other way they adopt as individuals. People need to realise that they cannot live all alone as individuals and they cannot live together on basis of oppression and suppression, so they must agree on some goals and guidelines that give them reasonable individual freedom as well as reasonable community life so that people could live blissful and dignified lives. This is only possible on basis of brotherhood the Quranic package provides for the humanity. This is why it is of vital importance for mankind to educate themselves by helping each other in general and then learn the Quran also and follow it so that there could be brought about a proper human community or life will continue as it has been for centuries ie a life full of painful suffering that people inflict upon each other.
Proclaim! In the name of Allah, the provider of psychological, sociological and biological needs of mankind,
1] We present this package to mankind for adopting it as their way of life
2] in form of a written book
3] as a manifesto for purpose of mass distribution
4] and as a constitution and law for structuring and organising a proper human community upon and regulating it,
5] and that way comprehensively securing its existence under that umbrella
6] for expanding like a surging ocean
7] otherwise your painful suffering by hands of each other will continue against which your Lord warned you
8] because there is no other way of life that could help you avert it
9] but ignoring the package of Allah continuously could bring the day when the whole world will be shaken up violently and woken up rudely
10] so much so that the powerful rulers, money lenders and mullahs will be running about in utter confusion.
11] That time period is a very bad news for all those leaders who deny Our set rights to masses
12] such as remain engaged in their harmful and destructive activities against mankind.
13] In that period of time they will be driven by their victims to the painful suffering violently
14] saying, this is the fire of hatred which you used to ignite by denying rights to others.
15] Was this warning of Allah a false one or were you not bothered with understand it?
16] This painful suffering is result of your that uncaring mindset, attitude and behaviour towards others so now put up with it, regardless you put up with it patiently or impatiently it is all the same for you, after all it is fruit of your own hard work.
17] Surely those who strive hard to be consistent with Our guidance and each other, they will end up in blissful kingdoms,
18] rejoicing at the outcome of their hard work due to granted program of their Lord to them, that is how their Lord will shield them from making their life hell.
19] They will be told by each other, participate in community properly on basis of proper knowledge so that you could do things properly.
20] This is how they will rise to stages of dignity due to being organised and regulated in groups properly this is why We will grant them community fellows that are equally free of blameworthy character who are highly intellectual and knowledgeable people.
21] So those who commit to working for peace, progress and prosperity of mankind and those who support them from their children in their struggle for bringing about a peaceful, progressive and prosperous human community We will unite them and We will not deny them the fruit of their hard work at all, for each of the communities is entitled to fruits of its works.
22] That is how We will provide them with fruits of their labour as per their need and desire according to their hard works in form of a community network.
23] They will therefore pass on from person to person this wine of knowledge in order to safeguard themselves from going off this track on to wrong tracks.
24] So that there await for them their young children well prepared ready to take over from their elders the community responsibilities to continue the process smoothly.
25] This is why the elders should share with them their life experiences before they brought about this community
26] saying, when we were living among our kinfolk, we were troubled by many fears
27] but Allah has been gracious in bringing us together through His revelation that is how He has delivered us from environment of hatred and animosity.
28] We managed to do all this because we invited each other to His advised way of life according to His program, constitution and law. Surely His rule will when established will demonstrate that He is full of goodness and compassion for mankind.
29] So for bringing about such a good human society strive hard O messenger because you are bestowed with revelation by your Lord, not with nonsense from soothsayers nor are you mentally insane talking nonsense.
30] Do these chiefs tell their followers that he is just a person with antisocial agenda and we are waiting for his opposition to our society die away in due course?
31] Say to them, carry on then promoting your social order and I too will carry on promoting my social order and wait for the result to appear and decide the matter between us.
32] Is that all their minds can think about or is it that they have chosen to set themselves up actively against Our advice on a course to self destruction?
33] Are they saying this man has invented this Quran himself? No, not at all because it is for their benefit but they say it anyway because they do not want to commit to working for unity, peace, progress and prosperity of mankind.
34] But even if they insist on their claim being true then let them produce a scripture like it that informs them about things they do not know including about themselves.
35] Did they pop in to existence out of nothing or were they brought in to existence by themselves?
36] Or is it they who created the heavens and the earth? No, they cannot tell for sure how all this came to be.
37] Do they have authority from your Creator and Sustainer to take ownership of provisions in to their possession or are they appointed managers over it?
38] Or do they have any ways and means for consulting Him about it? If they do then let them produce their proof for it.
39] Is it for Him to dictate basis for your existence or is it for you to set up rules as you like in His kingdom?
40] Do you O messenger ask them for any personal gains for educating them to a better way of life that they feel burdened by that so they cannot learn and follow it?
41] Or have they the capability to know the future for sure that they must follow their own self created programs being secure about their future?
42] Do they intend to devise a plot against Our set out package? In that case those who oppose Our rule will become trapped in their own plots.
43] Or do they truly have some other creator, sustainer and sovereign than Allah? No, not at all, for kingdom of Allah is free of rule by any other than Allah.
44] Yet they continue their stupidity even when they see the world falling apart into pieces due to their stupidity, for their excuse is, it is just a passing phase and once it is over they will be back in business as usual.
45] So let them live as they please till they face the time period they have been warned against, that is the time when they will lose their minds to fear and themselves to destruction.
46] The period of time when their plots and designs will avail them not and there will be none who could help them out of that situation.
47] Surely for such harmful and destructive people, there is yet another painful suffering to go through even though most of them realise it not.
48] Regardless of their negative reaction carry on steadfastly with your mission for installing the rule of your Creator and Sustainer because you are surely succeeding as We see it, so strive hard for establishing rule of your Lord to demonstrate glory of rule of your Lord for as long as you live,
49] particularly during the period of darkness of ignorance strive for it in such a way so that there come about people who prove to be luminaries for guidance of mankind towards establishing this rule.
Surah 53 AL-NAJM–The light of guidance for mankind to become united on basis of peace, progress and prosperity
This surah is named AL-NAJM from root NOON, JEEM and MEEM. Concrete meaning of this root is something that draws attention for some purpose. It also means a rising star, a plant without stalk that spreads and covers the ground, fixed term, a point of agreement, a converging and diverging point, a fixed period of time, a celebrity or guide, luminary, learned person, a statement or word, something that gives off light or reflects light or shines, astrology, to tell future, to predict or forecast, to show up or appear, to guide, to think out or plan some solution for some problem, to criticise, to point out defects or faults in something in some way etc etc.
This surah is named AL-NAJM because it talks about guidance from Allah and how prophet Muhammad received this message just like prophet Moses as explained in surah 20 TWAA HAA. It is also explained that a person has to be self aware and aware of the universe in which one lives and interacts with other things and rest of human population. Unless one becomes aware of things deeply and widely one cannot benefit from the program, constitution and law of Allah because one cannot realise the vital importance of it therefore one cannot study it and therefore cannot use it for the benefit of mankind. Many people have passed away and most of them ended up harming and destroying themselves because they paid no attention to guidance of Allah as they were supposed to. It were people in position of management of populations and resources, means of production and distribution who misled masses for personal benefits. At height of atrocities upheavals resulted and so people destroyed each other out revengeful reactions. The Quran puts forth program and tells people to adhere to it if you wish to reach the heights of blissful and dignified life by turning the world into a beautiful place. This surah warns against people who make trouble and explains their mindsets, attitudes and behaviours whereby it is possible to recognise such people in the community. The main thing that exposes them is their longing for personal gains at the expense of others. This surah also tells us about sovereignty of people over people through different ways and means or mechanisms eg through political, economic and religious ways and means or mechanisms. These people do not use whatever they have or can do without having in their minds some personal benefit out of it. They are not interested in proper human community this is why when people stand up to try and build a community network these people just go along because they want to avoid detection. They do not show natural happy response to community life. They rather live in isolation when it comes to fulfilling community duties and responsibilities but wish to be centre of attention when it comes to gaining things from the community. The surah itself is self explanatory so there is little need for any explanation.
Proclaim! In the name of Allah, the provider of psychological, sociological and biological needs of mankind,
1] We present as evidence this guidance that when it is spread
Word HAWAA is from root HAA, WOW and YAA. Concrete meaning of this root is atmosphere, environment, air, emptiness, void, altruistic motives, foolish person, temptation, seduction, something that has no importance or weight, desire, something that falls or causes something else to fall, to speed up, to swoop down, to incline, to fall in love, to enchant, a narrow opening between mountains, personal thoughts or desires or motives,
2] it will prove that your fellow human Muhammad strayed not, nor was he misguided
3] or attributes anything to Allah as His revelation that is result of his own thought process
4] rather this Quran is revealed to him as a revelation
5] which he is taught by the one whose grip on knowledge is ever strong,
6] the one with power has thereby perfected him
7] to the highest standard for mission of guidance of mankind.
8] For he approached information intellectually and rose to a level whereat he could benefit from Our revelation so we completed his circuit of information with the Quran.
9] like joining of two bows that make the circle complete,
10] and that is how Allah revealed to Muhammad the Quran that He wanted to reveal.
11] and that is why his mind did not contradict that about which he was given insight.
Although in these verses the Quran is talking about the messenger of Allah but any human being who can benefit from the divine guidance has to be in a similar frame of mind. If a person does not have mindset, attitude and behaviour needed for benefiting from divine guidance then it is highly unlikely such a person will receive any guidance or even bother to give it any attention. Unless you are in need of something you hardly pay attention to things.
12] Will you the mankind then fight with him over what he has learned and understood properly which you did not bother to learn and understand properly?
13] He saw Our guidance as an assurance for future of humanity
14] wherein lies growth and prosperity of people and which none should transgress
15] because therein lies blissful and dignifying kingdom for mankind.
16] At the time he received Our guidance, Our purpose for creation was surrounded in mystery for him
17] yet he remained focus and never gave up the effort in looking for guidance nor did he become disappointed after being made aware of it.
Guidance of Allah is not some kind of magic that it makes everything ok without need for people doing anything at all. Guidance only plays its part as a guidance and rest is up to people to give it due attention and benefit from it by using it as it ought to be used.
18] He did indeed come across some of major lessons of his Lord.
19] So have you O messenger seen in your lessons any authorisation for concept of (Al-Laat) the sovereignty of one human being over another human being, and (Al-Uzza) the sovereignty of priesthood over masses,
20] and about the third one (Manaat) the sovereignty of rich over the poor?
21] Is it proper in your view that some of you should have sovereignty by any such means over others and for the others to accept any such arrangement?
22] This indeed is an unfair division of power and wealth and so it should be removed!
23] These are nothing but concepts which you and your political, religious and wealthy leading people have invented for your own personal gains at the expense of concept of proper human community. Allah has not granted any such authority about such divisions of power. The opponents of Our revelation follow nothing but their self-created concepts due to harmful and destructive ambitions and desires of their own even though the proper guidance of Allah has already come to them from their Lord.
24] Or do you the mankind still think man should be left to his own devices based on his own harmful and destructive mindset, attitude and behaviour after seeing the results of his courses of actions?
25] No, not at all because to Allah alone belongs the right of issuing program, constitution and law for all things from the very first till the very last.
26] How many of a human population are there in high positions of power yet their participation and handling of people and things benefits none but that is not the case with a population that willingly follows the course of action according to the program, constitution and law of Allah, that is how Allah shows consistency of its course of actions.
27] Yet those who commit not to working for peace, progress and prosperity of mankind for better future assign administrative responsibilities for the management of the masses and resources to the people for name sake
28] because they do not have the proper information and understanding about their role to fulfil it. They just follow their chaotic thought based courses of actions and such courses of actions accomplish not what is consistent with Our set purpose and beneficial for humanity.
29] Therefore expect not well being of humanity of those who ignore Our advice and seek only personal gains base on their harmful and destructive ambitions and desires for living as low lives in this world.
30] This is the summing up of what they know of the available information and its understanding. Surely your Creator and Sustainer will make obvious for mankind in due course those who have strayed from His advised path as well as those who stayed upon it.
31] So be aware that to Allah alone belongs sovereignty over all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, so it is up to His set up systems and laws to deliver the outcome for actions of those who commit atrocities against others as well as to deliver the outcome of actions of those who do their best to help others overcome their deficiencies and lacks to bring balance in their lives and thereby beauty.
32] Such as avoid inflicting major harms on each other that could bring about their disintegration as a proper human community but instead support each other. For them program, constitution and law of your Lord is abundantly blissful and dignifying. He makes this abundantly evident for you since He nurtures you in to communities from the humble beginnings just like when you were embryos in wombs of your mothers. So delude and deceive not yourselves and your people through solutions for your problems based on make beliefs and useless rituals and damaging actions, because He makes obvious in due course through their actions and their outcomes such as fully support others for achieving His set goal.
33] So can you recognise the one who turns away from supporting His program, constitution and law?
34] It is because such a one gives very little support and even that grudgingly just for show to avoid detection.
35] Is his future obvious to him that he can see it secure needing no help of a proper human community?
36] Or did he not bother to find out what was told in the scrolls of Moses
37] and Abraham about proper human community each of whom fulfilled his set out tasks?
38] They were told in there, none should be burdened with duties and responsibilities of another,
39] because one should be delivered the result of what one does,
40] so one’s hard work should be properly monitored and recorded,
41] so that he could be rewarded for his hard work efficiently and sufficiently,
42] and that is why it is sole right of your Lord to set out ultimate goal for mankind and the guidelines for achieving it
43] whereby He grants prosperity to its proper followers and lets remain in a mess its opponents,
44] this is how He brings nations to life when they follow His advice or lets them perish when they do not.
45] Moreover it is He Who evolved people into two categories, the managers (administrators/parents) and the managed (communities/children),
46] from the very same origin since they started out,
47] and He took it upon Himself to guide them to develop to their full potential in time to come.
48] This is how He bestowed necessities and luxuries of life upon them to give them satisfying dignified peaceful life thereby,
49] That is how He bestows upon them intelligence and realisation through His revelation.
50] However He let destroy themselves the people of Aad for not using their intelligence to benefit from His revelation,
51] then the people of Thamud without any of them being spared,
52] and before them opponents of Noah who broke Our set limits and inflicted harm and destruction upon each other.
53] Likewise were destroyed the cities of Lot that were overwhelmed by their own atrocities against each other.
54] They were all overwhelmed by their self destructive ways of life.
55] So which of your Lord’s provisions will you deny to each other and yet survive similar destructions?
56] This warner is just like the warners of the people of the past.
57] The ever approaching day of upheaval is drawing near if you do not stop living in a harmful and destructive way.
58] None other than Allah could explain such things to you to save you from your self destruction and to give you life of peace and prosperity.
59] Do you still find this revelation strange after all this explanation
60] and take it for a joke instead of following it sincerely
61] and waste your time in doing useless things for solving your problems?
62] Therefore submit yourselves to program, constitution and law of Allah and carrying out its objectives faithfully.
