Surah 28 AL-QASAS–The explanation of set-up systems and laws as to how they keep mankind moving towards the ultimate goal set for them by their creator and sustainer along with guidance of Allah for them to follow

This surah is named AL-QASAS from root QAAF, SWAAD and SWAAD. Concrete meaning of this root is to follow someone or something step by step for some reason. Also when someone tells a story about someone or something then one is as if following someone or something step by step, to wish for or long for or have desire for, to convey someone some piece of information or to tell someone something about someone, to make up stories about someone and spread them ie spreading rumours, to cut or clip one’s hair with scissors, to cut off or to shear, to curtail, scissors, chips, cuttings or clipping, to match, to follow trail of a criminal to catch him and punish him for crime he has committed, law of equity, retaliation, revenge, reprisal, to follow up, to settle accounts on both sides, to tell or relate, to mention, to declare, to explain, to clarify, to expand, to elaborate, to make aware, to alert, account, report, to retrace, retribution equal to crime, just or fair retribution, the law governing acts of retribution for killing, to follow unobtrusively, to shadow, history, story, narrative, tale, accountability, to track, tracker, breastbone, to get involved in false stories and leave the Quran in favour of those stories, monkey or something like a monkey in some sense, clever, mischievous, agile, deceptive, illusive, something that hang onto something in some sense, to imitate, to copy, to be image of, to be like, to be similar, to jump about, to be unstable, to be infirm, plant or something like a plant in some sense, extract, essence, juice, to squeeze life out of something, to expand, to be fixed in a place or position in some sense yet be growing in some sense, to have ability to stand up or rise up etc etc.

This surah is named AL-QASAS because it is explaining how mankind are set boundaries which they should not cross or they cannot escape consequences for their own actions. In this context the Quran tells mankind story of people who supported Moses or pharaoh etc. It explains what kind of way of life was left behind by Joseph and Jacob in Egypt and what happened after them ie how people changed their ways of life and faced troubled lives. The beginning is almost always interaction between the very same people and the result is people fall into divisions over a period of time and gradually things get from bad to worse. As people stop living by program, constitution and law of their creator and sustainer, they start inflicting terrible harm and destruction upon each other for petty personal gains and so the whole society deteriorates from bad to worse. When things get really bad laws of nature deliver to mankind the results of their own thoughts and actions so much so that in the end people either go for reforms or perish. The very same happens in case of people of Moses. Those who accept his message regain control over blissful, dignified and secure life but those who oppose the message they end up destroying themselves. The story does not end there but mankind are told that the way things have been happening throughout times will continue until people live by the message of Allah sent through the final messenger. Along the way as always the Quran draws attention of mankind to real science. There is ample emphasis on proper observation of universal realities and drawing conclusions from that and then planning and modifying future steps. As always the Quran covers society its politics and economics ie organisation, regulation, humanity and resources as well as productions and distribution. The Quran leaves people in no doubt that no matter what the rule of Allah is bound to be installed by humanity itself in due course by its own realisation after gaining a lot of experience through doing what people desire. That will happen because when mankind have exhausted all avenues the set-up systems and laws of Allah will confront mankind with a do or die situation. People of Moses faced Pharaoh, Hamaan, Qaroon and Saamiree. Each of them were tough opponent of Moses in their own ways but he managed to get his supporters through all troubles to safety. A lesson for later messengers of Allah as well as their followers. Moses set very high standard to meet for people to come. This story tells people very clearly what the Quran is all about ie it is a book of DEEN that has nothing at all to do with MAZHAB. So anyone who claims to be a Muslim it is binding upon that person to work for establishing the kingdom of God in this world for ensuring well being of humanity.

Proclaim! In the name of Allah, the provider of psychological, sociological and biological needs of mankind,

1] TWAA, SEEN MEEM.

2] These are verses of the book that makes differences between the two opposing ways of life distinctively obvious for mankind.

As explained already, the Quran is a book that lets people know what is the proper way of life and why which they should adopt and what is improper way of life and why from which they should stay away. It is because one way of life can lead humanity to blissful, dignified and secure existence as a proper human community through full help and support of each other provided they understand it properly and follow it faithfully where as the other way of life based upon personal gains at the expense of each other can lead them only to harms and destructions by hands of each other due to rivalries and animosities between themselves which keep leading them to fights and wars between themselves.

3] For that purpose We inform you with some information about Moses and Pharaoh for people who may wish to commit to working for unity, peace, progress and prosperity of mankind.

The purpose of revelation of the Quran is basically to help people know how they should live their lives in this world if they desire well being for themselves. All people want to ensure their own individual well being but the problem arises when they ignore well being of others. They fail to see the connection between well being of their individual selves and others who are also looking for the very same thing the very same way. It is because people only think for themselves and try to ignore others therefore they end up in fights with each other instead of gaining help and support of each other through bringing everyone aboard and discussing things thoroughly to work out how all can get what they want for themselves. The Quran tries to bring to the attention of people what they do not know or try to ignore so that by giving attention to it they could get what they need or want with help and support of each other. This is why the Quran does not give people baseless dogmas and useless rituals to waste their times and energies but real solutions to their real problems.

4] Behold! Pharaoh imposed himself upon the population in the land and divided its residents into groups setting them up against each other to exploit them for his personal vested interests at their expense that is why he ended up persecuting one of the groups far more than the rest by undermining its people with ability to lead and deliver by propping up its witless and characterless people. Certainly he was one of the warmongers who inflicted harms and destructions upon his people by dividing them and setting them up against each other.

This explains how rulers divide people to rule them by setting them up against each other. To begin with, people are divided in the name of state and religion and then all the rest of basis for divisions follow from that. Word FIROWN which is translated as Pharaoh represents ruling elite or household of rulers or a people from among whom a ruler comes. These people take over rule of land by force ie that is what kings and emperors did and do. So long as rule over land is taken over by force by individuals or groups it is nothing but pure oppression and suppression of mankind and that is what deen of Islam stops from. It is because when a people take over a piece of land and its people they impose their own wills therefore their own laws upon them in order to use and abuse them for their personal ends. This is why even those who claim to be Muslims and yet end up doing the same thing to humanity stand in the same category as far as the Quran is concerned. The group that was oppressed the most is the one that was still holding onto message of God due to which they were telling people to live properly. This does not suit ruling elite so they try to get rid of such people who promote idea of kingdom based upon guidance of God.

5] However Our plan was always in favour of those people who even though begin from a simple state of existence but keep learning and strengthening themselves so that eventually in due course We find them in position of leadership of mankind so that they take humanity into future for its betterment

6] and that is how We made possible for them to establish themselves in the world, to show people like Pharaoh, Haman and their supporters the very thing happening against which they took all the measures.

No matter what people with harmful and destructive mindsets, attitudes and behaviours think and do due to their desires and ambitions for personal power or wealth or dominance the people with mindsets, attitudes and behaviours for ensuring well being of humanity according to plan of Allah will always win the day because that is the way the world is set-up by Allah to move. This is why each time people ended up in a large or small conflict the end result was always a bit better outcome for the future of mankind. As tribal people became a problem the kingdoms came about and when the kingdoms became a problem the empires came about and when the empires became problems they disintegrated and so absolute power of one person over others came to an end. Likewise came about power of religious leadership on basis of make beliefs and useless rituals and that too had its days and then came about power of money. It too is not going to last very long as wealth in the world concentrates into a few hands and rest of humanity recognises that. After that things will have to move on to proper law and respect for proper law and that is moving towards Quranic way of life be it unknowingly or unaware. Even though God has made known his plan for humanity yet people have ignored study of his plan and are busy with their own designs for running the world the way they think the results of which are made obvious to them constantly. This is why work of God seems mysterious to people due to their ignorance about his plan for the world and its people.

7] That is why We inspired leadership of community of Moses, to lookafter him properly and when you become concerned about his education then put him into the main stream learning centre without any fear or worry. We will certainly turn him towards supporting your way of life advised by Us and make him one of its promoters.

It is unfortunate that Muslims have hardly carried out any research and exploration work regarding things mentioned in the Quran and unless people discover historical and scientific facts it is not possible to interpret verses of the Quran correctly. As explained in detail already, unless people become aware of things the Quran is talking about it is not possible at all to see what the Quran is actually saying about things. To understand properly the story of Moses and Pharaoh told in the Quran in detail people first need to discover past historical fact by digging into the past and then see how they make sense and in that light they need to interpret the text of the Quran. Just as knowing scientific facts is necessary for proper understanding of science related verses of the Quran so it is necessary to understand historical facts about the past. Most people take this verse to mean God sent revelation to mother of Moses. This cannot be because God sends direct revelations to his messengers only and not to ordinary people. Even messengers are sent revelations for a set purpose as a mission. It is true that all knowledge comes from God but as already explained people learn things through brains and senses bestowed upon them by God and revelation is only a top up for guidance and the rest is all up to people themselves. To understand what this verse means one has to be aware of the fact that the Quran is about community building and therefore not about individuals unless in community context. All communities have categories of people ie some are highly learned others are only starting and many are not bothered at all with learning sense to make sense of things. Leadership of a community therefore has idea which individuals may have potential to take them forward in the future. In this context one can see story of prophet Joseph ie how he was thought of as a future leader of his community by the current leadership of his community. The same is told about prophet Shuaib who was father in law of Moses ie his people thought very high of him. So while still a child a person could be showing great potential to be something great one day. Here community of Moses likewise thinks Moses as a child is showing great potential to be a leader of his community one day. A person who will support cause of his community and promote it by acting as its envoy just like many others who have done this in the past or are still doing it. In other words each and every human population has people in it who support its cause and act as its ambassadors otherwise it cannot have any future. It is possible that people of Moses also took him for a possible future prophet of God who was foretold in earlier scriptures due to the potential he showed as a child. The problem is not with being a leader or a society but on what basis one is going to be a leader or a society is going to be formed. On basis of a way of life founded upon the idea of personal gains at the expense of each other people become divided into castes or races or classes or religions or kingdoms or colours etc etc. The very same is going on in the society the Quran is talking about in these verses. The current rulers, money lenders and mullahs have turned Egypt into a war zone between people on various basis so there are all sorts of tensions between them. BANI ISRAEL are not necessarily the biological children of Jacob as most people think because prophets of Allah took message of God to all people within their reach everywhere in the world. Likewise Egyptians became one people with help of Joseph and became children of Israel because they became united under proposed way of life by Joseph. The divide appeared between people on ideological basis and not on basis of kith and kin because once a people live together as one for generations they marry into each other so the very idea that children of Israel remained a separate people through and through seems absurd and a false idea. The divide could only reappear due to change of ideology from way of life based upon deen of Islam back to personal gains based way of life at the expense of each other. When a people have been living together for generations they become closely related to each other so it becomes very difficult to separate or isolate them from each other. Therefore people called people of Pharaoh and people of Israel are basically the very same mixed race people but they become divided because some choose one way of life for themselves to live by and the others another. People who chose way of life based upon personal gains at the expense of each other became party of Pharaoh household and people who remained on the way of life based upon guidance of Allah to some extend claimed to be children of Israel. This is why Moses is told to get children of Israel free from use and abuse of Pharaoh and his chiefs. For God to tell his messenger to get a tiny minority free on racial grounds makes no sense in the Quranic context because the Quran does not allow any such divide among people of the very same place. All messengers were send to all of the people in their jurisdictions. The separation was not caused by messengers of God but by already divided people themselves who adopted the way of life based upon divide and rule for personal gains at the expense of each other. No prophet was sent by God to divide any united people but to unite already divided people on basis of a solid foundation. This is the consistent story throughout the Quran about each and every people. The idea that God will save Israelites because they are children of Jacob and ruin the Egyptians is a totally absurd idea in the context of the Quran. Allah does not take sides as I have explained in detail already. It is people who take side of God and humanity by accepting his advised way of life or rejecting it. Since people who liked the way of life of Pharaoh household supported that and people who liked the way of life of Israelite household supported that so on that basis they became divided. Once people became divided they became separated and people of Pharaoh household ended up destroyed by hands of each other due to the way of life they adopted whereas people who accepted and adopted way of life advised by God survived and prospered in the very same land. This is why story of exodus may not be true at all or only partially true in the context of ideological migration or temporary migration. It is because according to the Quran Allah let have the same land to people of Israel wherein used to live people of Pharaoh. Household of Pharaoh itself seems divided on the very same ground ie on basis of accepting or rejecting the way of life advised by Allah. The Quran tells a very different story from the Jewish and Christian Bible about Children of Israel. It is unfortunate that Muslim commentators of the Quran blindly accepted the nonsense pushed forth by Jews and Christians. However in time truth will become obvious as more and more research and exploration helps people discover what went on in Egypt in times long ago. It seems from the Quranic story about Moses that people of Pharaoh were systematically pushing down children of Israel by taking their kids under their control and brain washing them and turning them into masters and slaves through ruling system and religious hierarchy. In order to save her son from control of rulers; money lenders and mullahs, community that supported Moses let him be part of household of Pharaoh so that he could get the education about that household as well just like Joseph. The difference is that Joseph had his early education from Jacob and later learned how Pharaoh ran his society but Moses was raised by Pharaoh and Moses own family both due to being educated in the main stream education system wherein he was spotted by Pharaoh household as well to be a leader one day due to expressing his potential. So he became aware of how each of the societies worked and then he had further training under prophet Shuaib for several years before returning to Egypt. Things do not just happen but that they are made to happen in a particular way to serve the set out purpose of Allah. The Quran here talks about Pharaoh and Haman but in another place in this surah it also talks about Qaroon, the third one. Pharaoh represents political control over human population in his land and Hamaan represents religious control over same people and Qaroon represents financial control over the very same masses. Pharaoh makes fool of his population through his politics like some of his ancestors before him. We must not forget that there were different Pharaohs in time of Joseph, at the time of birth of Moses and after he grew up and was set on a mission. So Pharaoh is not name of any particular person but a title of all Egyptian kings or rulers of that time or of the household of kings or ruling elite. So in actual fact Pharaoh represents imperialism just as Hamaan represents religion-ism or priesthood or mullaism and Qaroon represent money lenders or bankers or wealth collectors or finance controllers and advisors etc. Together they use and abuse people in various ways open to them by keeping general public ignorant. All Moses and Aaron did was educated people out of their ignorance and woke them up from their deep sleep. In time of Joseph, empire of Pharaoh was about to crumble due to internal strife because his policy of divide and rule went too far for too long but it was saved by Joseph who managed to keep it intact on basis of way of life advised by God. The reason his empire nearly ended was because his people became far too much divided beyond his wishes so Joseph was able to reunite people within several years through very hard work by showing them the way. Moses is going to do exactly the same because same is happening once again ie Pharaoh has caused severe divisions within his own population for his rule which went too far so things do not look that great any more. This is why the story of killing babies is a false one because that would have totally ended his empire through civil wars which he could not afford. The killing of children was about taking them away from proper education and giving them under control of Jewish priests who turned them away from actual teachings of scriptures just like Muslims of today who are under control of mullahs in the name of Islam. Most Muslims are giving their children under control of madrassas and that is how mullahs are killing Muslim potential by indoctrinating kids into brainless people. This is how strength of children of Israel was destroyed gradually either through lack of education or through educating them in a wrong sort of way. Same is happening to people in poor countries today that they are not receiving the proper education to be good citizens of human society and religious schools are failing them through indoctrination that makes them slaves of mullahs thereby of rulers and money lenders turning them into good for nothing people. This is why nonMuslims and Muslim powerful families are funding mosques and madrassas instead of building proper schools, colleges and universities or hospitals etc. Even the factories are built for profiteering and businesses. Humanity is not the foundational concern of people but using and abusing each other for petty personal gains at the expense of each other is their main way of life. Nowadays people are even trying to justify banking in the name of Islamic shariah. Capitalism or communism is thought to be Islamic. So if people want better world they cannot have it by going about things this way. The Quranic way of life is the only way to get the world to be a blissful, dignified and secure place for mankind to live in. However the work needed in that case is much more than capitalism, communism or religion etc because it is matter of educating people to such a high level that people really have hearts and minds in it. They need to act like robots on production line but out of sense of responsibility. The leaders need to work equally hard as anyone else if not more with very same sense of responsibility. This is example of prophets about which the Quran is full, not which way to sit on the donkey or how to ride a camel or what sort of turban to wear or what kind of pyjama is Islamic or what kind of beard is Islamic. So one can see how mullahs have turned Muslims into a brainless people through their religious nonsense. Muslims were supposed to be a people who could not only meet the challenges that life has for humanity but were supposed to be leaders of the human populations throughout the world instead they have failed badly even in following rest of developed humanity.

8] We made community of Pharaoh pick him up from the sea of knowledge so that he becomes a uniting force for the people split apart causing each other grief through inflicting harms and destructions upon each other for personal gains at the expense of each other because Pharaoh, Hamaan and their supporting populations were living their lives on basis of the way of life that was full of harms and destructions for them.

One must always remember that Allah never sends any messenger to split and destroy mankind but to bring together people who are already divided to put them back on the track of proper way of life so that they could progress and prosper as a proper human community based upon guidance of Allah.

9] The following or party of chiefs of Pharaoh said to Pharaoh, this child may become comfort of the eyes for me and for you so do not let die his potential for developing into a useful person for us. He may prove greatly beneficial for us and we could also nominate him as a successor to rulership of our kingdom if he meets our expectations. However they were unaware of Our plan about him.

10] But in due course mind of leadership of community of Moses became painfully troubled and it could have exposed itself to danger thereby had We not strengthened its mind due to its commitment to working according to Our advised way of life for unity, peace, progress and prosperity of mankind.

12] That is why We prevented him earlier from being looked after by it because it said, shall I point out to you a people based upon a constitution who are sufficient to lookafter him for you and for him they will be good advisors?

Allah made sure that Moses was originally looked after by the right people and then he was sent among other people for learning about them as well and finally he was reunited with his own original community but he was also at home with his opponents as well till there happened an incident that brought yet greater change in life of Moses.

13] However after a good learning experience We restored him to his original community leadership so that its eyes may find comfort through hope of better future, and so that it grieves not and that it comes to know the promise of Allah is true. Yet despite all this explanation most of the people still do not bother to learn to understand things properly as they should.

People have invented many stories about Moses and his people and Pharaoh and his people based upon supernatural events. The Quran does not support those made up stories. Instead it tells the stories in its own way. Unfortunately, ignorant mullahs have been following false stories and turning the Quranic explanations in its text towards supporting those false stories. If people look at things carefully they can see where mullahs have misled humanity and why. They misled humanity because they did not try to understand the Quran in light of real world realities. This introduced tonnes of contradictions within their concocted baseless explanations. The outcome of their that misadventure is that people who read their translations and explanations of the Quran think it is all in the actual text of the Quran. So the Quran has become the target of criticism instead of mullahs and their followers. Since this suits rulers, money lenders, mullahs, their touts and supporters they provide abundant propaganda to make sure people at large listen to them and not carry out their own research on the Quran for themselves. The result is the human world is suffering painfully by sticking to nonsense called religion as well as secularism promoted by enemies of revelation of Allah. Unless people give up their stupidity and stop listening to hearsay by enemies of deen of Islam there is little chance of blissful, dignified and secure existence of mankind. If people really want good life for themselves in this world and in hereafter they must learn to understand the Quran properly and follow it faithfully. Only and only then they can have unity, peace, progress and prosperity as a proper human community.

14] When he reached maturity and became fully grown up man, We bestowed upon him information and its proper understanding, that is how we reward those who live their lives for making their world a beautiful place for each other.

This is about divine revelation but also about gaining knowledge through life experience before one is able to understand divine revelation ie by using one’s brain and senses properly. So if people want to understand the divine revelation then first they must learn things using brain and senses and then through realisation of things one enables oneself to understand the divine program, constitution and law. This is why to understand the Quran one has to already have the needed knowledge, which mullahs do not have. The proof is that if any mullahs is handed over the running of a country, he will ruin it in no time because religious education is useless for running a country successfully and secular education only lets people become divided on basis of advantages and disadvantages which in due course can lead to civil wars between the people as things reach that end. The Quran is full of stories why nation after nations failed to manage the human population and provided resources properly. All because people did not learn the proper foundation for properly basing and running a proper human community properly. From this verse on the Quran seems to tell us how Moses came to receive divine revelation after he became a grown up man.

15] One day he entered the city at a time when its people were taking a rest, he found two men reaching for each other's throats. One was from party of his own supporters and the other from the supporters of the opposite party. The man of his own party appealed for his help against his opponent whereupon Moses gave his foe a blow which knocked him out ending the fight but he said, this division and fighting between people is work of the harmful and destructive leadership. Surely such a leadership is an obvious enemy of mankind that misleads humanity through its invented and adopted way of life based upon personal gains at the expense of each other.

Word GHAFLAH is from root GHAIN, FAA and LAAM. Concrete meaning of this root is to cover something up for some reason. Also to neglect, to overlook, to forget, to become distracted, to become inattentive or heedless or oblivious, to be simple, to be unmarked, to be anonymous, to take a rest, to take a break, to not to take care of, to not to watch or keep an eye over, to be off guard, to be of low birth, innocent or unwary or unaware, uncultivated, untrained, uneducated, undisturbed, ignorant, stubborn, abandoned, left on one’s own, someone not paid any attention to, negligible, unworthy, useless, to let go, to leave alone, to hide, to lack wit, someone who does not mind about something, a person good for nothing, an aimless person, a person who wastes time and energy, a person who does things without having any purpose his mind, a path that has no markings on it for guidance, an animal that is unbranded, a stray or abandoned animal, something that is neither benefits nor harms, an unmarked arrow, a person who has no knowledge about his family or to which tribe or clan one belongs or comes from, a piece of poetry the author of which is unknown, to let go something deliberately, to let something happen deliberately, to be unfamiliar, to be unknown, chaste women, a community or nation free of any blemish, a simple minded person or people or community, to have no regards for, to have no respect for, to ignore something, eye or something like an eye in some sense, mouth or something like a mouth in some sense, ox-goad or something like an ox-goad in some sense etc etc.

Word WAKAZAH is from root WOW, KAAF and ZAA. Concrete meaning of this root is to strike. Also to push, to hit, to punch, to attack with weapon, to use something as a weapon to attack someone, to punch one on the chin, to break something in some sense by striking or hitting it, to poke with a fist, to slap, to thrust, to spur, to bite, to use fist to strike, hook or something like a hook in some sense, palm of hand or something like a palm of a hand in some sense, weapon or tool or instrument or something like a tool or weapon or an instrument in some sense etc etc.

From this incident it seems Moses was already well aware of divisions among people of Egypt as well as who belonged to which side of the divide. By intervening in the fight Moses became a party for his opponents so they decided to go after him even though he only intervened to help the person who he thought was being oppressed unjustly in this case. However what the other person of the other side said is very important. He accused Moses for being a trouble maker instead of his own side. He thinks Moses is doing this to be the ruler himself over people by using force. A character assassination attempt made against Moses by this person. If society he was a member of truly was truly based upon idea of caring and sharing then how could there come about divisions? People who have no reason to be enemies of each other why should they act as such? It means house of pharaoh was not a household based upon policy of caring and sharing and that is why divisions were showing up in the society and troubles were staring and perhaps increasing. Actions of Moses are only reactions to what is already going on in that society so the blame clearly rest with people who have taken up a way of life that ensures divisions in the human society. Once people go down that road of divide and rule then blaming matters not till people come back to a foundation that is sufficiently solid for unity, peace, progress and prosperity of a people.

16] So he said, my Creator and Sustainer, I find myself oppressed by people who live by way of life based upon personal gains at the expense of each other therefore inflict harms and destructions upon each other so protect me from this way of life, therefore at length He protected him through his guidance, for He is protector of mankind through his blissful, dignifying and secure life providing program, constitution and law.

17] He therefore said, my Creator and Sustainer, because you have bestowed upon me proper information and its proper understanding therefore I will never be a supporter of those who will commit crimes against humanity.

From this incidence Moses realised that divisions in the society are cause of such quarrels so he decides to do something about it but he has no idea how to handle the situation to change it for the better. It is one thing to know what is wrong but quite another to know what is actually right. Moreover even if one comes to know what is right yet it is a very different thing to find out a way and means to put things right. Things do not become alright just by wishing or by expressing the wish to God that they are alright instead one has to figure out the mechanism for change and apply it successfully. All these are very disturbing and disheartening experiences with which mullahs are unfamiliar and that is the reason they can never guide even themselves never mind others. No mullah has any idea what the message of God is about this is why mullahs can only mislead people so people also need to realise this fact for themselves. Mullahs of Bani Israel if they knew what the message of God was about they could have prevented people from falling into this state of existence in the first place. Moses despite coming from among people of Israel still had problem figuring out things for himself because mullahs covered up the message of God in their own falsehood. They may well have lost the original message also by the time of Moses. No matter what, Moses did not have access to original message of God to lead people out of confusion. This depresses Moses because he has no idea what to do or how to do it in order to end divisions among his people. He only becomes aware of what he needs to do once he begins to receive revelations from God as he returns from Madyan after several years. He leaves Egypt due to the violent incident that takes place after he is informed by a well wisher that people of Pharaoh are looking for him due to the incident.

18] Next morning as he was walking in the city cautiously concerned about the incidence a day before, suddenly he saw the same man whom he had helped the day before crying out to him again for help. Moses said to him, you are obviously a person who loses his temper easily.

Word AMS is from root ALIF, MEEM and SEEN. Concrete meaning of this root is the day before. Also recently, not long ago, just a few days ago, yesterday, the previous day, the near past, a short time ago, adjacent time period or era to present time period or era, stick or something like a stick in some sense, water or something like water in some sense, tooth or something like a tooth in some sense etc etc.

Word YASTASRIKHUH is from root SWAAD, RAA and KHA. Concrete meaning of this root is to scream. Also to shout or yell or call for help, to invite for support, to shriek, to bellow, to cry loudly, to cry to someone for help, to come to rescue or help, to respond to call for help, the one who comes to rescue in response to call for help, tree or plant or something like a tree or plant in some sense, head or something like ahead in some sense, fence or something like a fence in some sense etc etc.

19] However as Moses is about to lay his hands on a man who was an opponent of both of them, he cried out, O Moses! Do you intend to fight me as well as you fought another of our man yesterday? You only want to become a troublemaker in the land instead of becoming of those who want to mend things and reform to live by our rule of law.

Word YABTISHA is from root BAA, TWAA and SHEEN. Concrete meaning of this root is to take hold of something strongly. Also to get something into one’s grip forcefully, to use force, to attack violently, to seize with violence, to assault, to batter, to beat up, to strike down, onslaught, to go for someone, to take hold of someone forcefully, to take something by force, to take hold of someone or something using the force of law, house or something like a house in some sense, landmark or something like a landmark in some sense, tooth or something like a tooth in some sense etc etc.

One has to look at first incidence and see that if Moses did something wrong then he was going to do the same again, does it make any sense? Whatever Moses did before he did not do anything wrong that is why he was prepared to do it again. The wrong Moses is referring to is way of life that has been set-up by Pharaoh on basis of divisions in the society which leads to quarrels between people. If there is no proper law in a place for people to live by as a proper human community then it is as if there is no law at all. Because if law is put in place by the powerful people to favour people in power then what are those people to do who suffer as a result of it other than to react to it appropriately? So any reaction is justified that suffering people think helps them. As it is explained already that Allah clearly states that if all people in a land do not live by his law then they can do what they like to each other to get even. If Allah had said, accept whatever people in positions of power do to you then that would have killed humanity because the correction mechanism would not be there when things went wrong. This is why education is basis for humanity and if some people want to keep others ignorant then the reaction has to be severe by those who are target for use and abuse. One will see that education based revolutions are never brought about by rulers, mullahs or money lenders instead they are brought about by people who have knowledge of divine scriptures. This is why even Moses does not start an education based revolution at this stage but leaves the place quietly for elsewhere. So Islam is not about peace under any terms and conditions by anyone but under terms and conditions clearly stated in the Quran wherein humanity comes first. No humanity no peace. This is why Muslims must never waste any time and understand the message of the Quran properly and then they must put the same message across to rest of mankind so that they could get people to think it over and join in, if it seems to them that it is worth it. This is the only way for Muslims to become a united people. Without unity any population is doomed to failures.

20] At that time there came a man running from the far end of the city and said, O Moses! The chiefs are consulting each other in order to arrest you therefore you should leave this place, I am for sure one of your sincere advisers.

21] Hearing this Moses left that place worried but cautious saying, my Creator and Sustainer deliver me to safety away from these people who inflict harms and destructions upon each other for personal gains at the expense of each other.

Word YATARAQQAB is from root RAA, QAAF and BAA. Concrete meaning of this root is narrow part of something through which everything passes before getting in or out of something. Also neck, throat, responsibility, slave, war captive or prisoner of war, an elevated place, a watching post, watch tower, to observe, to guard, to regard, to stand in awe of, to show deference, to pay attention to someone, to wait for, to respect, to be on the lookout for something, to watch out for, keen watcher or observer, to strike at the neck of, to grab by the neck, to put rope around the neck, to make one a slave, to take hold of someone by the neck, to be the rival, to contend or contest, to expect something, to wait for avoiding something or someone, something that stands in wait, to look about for staying safe from something, to look around cautiously for avoiding danger or being caught by someone or something, to look around for avoiding being ambushed, antagonism, head or something like a head in some sense, monkey or something like a monkey in some sense, house or something like a house in some sense etc etc.

22] As he made his way towards Madyan he said, I am hopeful that my Creator and Sustainer will guide me to the way of life that is proper.

23] When he arrived at the well of Madyan, he saw a multitude of men watering their flocks and besides them two women who were trying to hold their flocks back from watering place. He asked them, what is the matter with you two why are you holding your flocks back from drinking water? They replied, we cannot water our flocks until the shepherds take away their flocks from the watering place because we are weak and our father is a very old man.

24] Seeing their situation he helped water their flocks for them and went back to the shade under the tree and said, my Creator and Sustainer, surely I am in desperate need of hospitality that You may choose to provide me with.

25] Soon after that one of the two women came to him walking bashfully and said, my father has invited you and he also wishes to reward you for watering our flocks for us. When Moses came to him and told him his story the old man said, have no worries you have escaped the arrest by cruel people of Egypt who inflict harms and destructions upon each other for personal gains at the expense of each other.

26] One of his daughters said, O my father, engage this man to help us in our work. The best man one can choose to engage for work is a man who is strong but loves to be in peace oneself and helps others to be peace also.

Word ISTAJIRH is from root ALIF, JEEM and RAA. Concrete meaning of this root is an agreement on interaction between parties involved in doing something for mutual benefit that ensures well being of all parties involved appropriately. Also an agreement for participation in something between parties for mutual benefit to ensure well being of all involved appropriately, an agreement for cooperation between parties in doing something for appropriate mutual benefit to ensure well being of all involved appropriately, to agree to trade one thing for another with someone for mutual benefit to ensure well being of all involved appropriately, to agree to help and support each other for mutual benefit to ensure well being of all involved appropriately, to agree to do something for someone in return for something, to do something for someone as a favour to help and support someone to ensure one’s well being, to do something for someone as a free gift to ensure well being of someone, to freely do something for someone to help and support someone for some reason, to let someone have something freely for ensuring well being of someone, to work with others on basis of some sort of mutual agreement, to work with each other according to some sort of mutual agreement towards an end goal, to work for a wage, to agree to work for someone in return for something, to employ someone for a wage in some form, return for work carried out, wage, fruit of one’s labour, to sell one’s labour for a wage, the earnings, to fix or repair a broken bone, to join a broken bone, a free gift from one person to another for ensuring well being of each other, a mutual offering of gifts between people to ensure well being of each other, to offer something to someone to help one survive, an agree way of dealing with each other for ensuring livelihood for each other, a return for work in some shape or form that helps one survive and continue working, reward for work done, to hire, to engage, to rent one’s labour or fruit of one’s labour, dowry, to go into a contractual agreement, to work as a hired person, payment for work done, stick or something like a stick in some sense, camel or something like a camel in some sense, head or something like a head in some sense etc etc.

It is not possible to do anything for anyone without some sort of binding contract between the parties involved. To employ one for a wage has to be done according to a pre-existing rule of law in a piece of land ie there has to be a foundation upon which people could do things for each other or deal with each other. It depends upon what people value and how they value it so that a wage could be worked out for the work carried out by people for each other. In a kingdom based upon guidance of Allah people come together on basis of guidance of Allah and work for the well being of each other therefore there is no need for any mechanism whereby people could end up using and abusing each other. This is why in a kingdom based upon guidance of Allah people do all things as a properly organised and regulated community in order to deliver goods and services at the points of need freely. So all able to do things do them to the best of their abilities as agreed between them as a proper human community and all take whatever they produce as per their needs or whatever the community can afford because that is the best community has been able to produce. The community cannot distribute between its members more than what its member can produce. However for as long as there is no kingdom based upon guidance of Allah people are forced to live by using and abusing each other so they devise their own rules of laws and put in place their own self created constitutions which are decided by most advantaged individuals in such populations. This is why there comes about a ladder of success and failure or power or wealth based pyramid scheme whereby top people have the most and bottom people are crushed and eliminated and there is no concern for each other or caring or sharing because each is for himself and all relationships are based upon taking undue advantages of each other. In other words that is how dog eat dog world comes about and as time goes on more and more people become victims under this system of way of life due to power struggle between people for survival. This is why it is called a way of life based upon personal gains at the expense of each other. The Quran makes the difference between these two ways of life absolutely manifest and very much obvious for people to see it clearly for themselves by its results. It therefore tells people to grow up and don’t live like worst than the lowest of animals. The Quran also makes it clear how people should live on basis of guidance of Allah even if there is no kingdom based upon guidance of Allah ie by mutually coopering with each other as a proper human community by spreading the message of the Quran till enough people join the proper human community that piece of land they live in is under their control. So that then they could establish the kingdom based upon guidance of Allah to live as a proper human community. In these verses the Quran explains how a family unit can come about based upon mutual good will and then such a unit can keep on expanding and that is how an ummah can come about. This is why deen of Islam stands upon five basic things 1)declaration that none has the right to rule in this universe other than Allah because Muhammad is his last messenger through whom this truth has been declared by Allah therefore mankind must declare their commitment to the way of life advised by Allah so that they could end up in blissful, dignified and secure existence as an ummah or human brotherhood or family. 2)to establish an ummah 3)to abstain from doing anything to anyone that could fracture or strain relationships between people whereby ummah could end up disintegrated 4)to do all in one’s power to ensure growth and prosperity of the ummah and 5)to struggle for establishing a kingdom based upon guidance of Allah as an ummah and once the kingdom comes about to do all one can to ensure its maintenance. These are the five pillars for which stands deen of Islam. It has nothing at all to do with nonsense dished out by ignorant mullahs or money lenders or rulers or their touts and supporters. They are a bunch of foolish people who are nothing less than leeches or vultures in human forms who are doing all they can to harm and destroy humanity by holding it back from unity, peace, progress and prosperity so that they could stay in power and have wealth for themselves at the expense of all others. So when the Quran talks about AJR or reward or wage or fruit of one’s labour, it talks in the context of one people or another. This is why people cannot interpret these words in the Quran in the very same context for both Muslimeen and Kafireen. Return and reward or wage and fruit of one’s labour mean very different things for ideologically different people. The Quran uses same words for both muslimeen and kafireen but explains how both differ in their approach to life. Word MALIK in musileen context does not mean king or owner or ruler because king and owner is only and only Allah as for as a Muslim is concern. It means leader or guide or overseer or manager or administrator etc etc. All this has been already explained in detail. As for as deen of Islam is concerned one man cannot rule over another man. No man has the right to be master of any other human being because none has the right to take anyone as one’s slave. None has the right to buy and sell anything or anyone because deen of Islam is not buying and selling market. All this because if any of this was allowed then ummah concept could never become a reality. That is because people will have reason to fight with each other for power or wealth so when a people have a reason to fight over something then they can never be one people whole heartedly. This is why deen of Islam is basically about people winning hearts and minds of each other thereby becoming closest friends and not about becoming worst enemies of each other through all sorts of rivalries and animosities that lead them to hatred for each other.

27] The old man said to Moses, I wish to bind in contract with you one of my these daughters if you agree to work with us for eight years but you may complete ten if you wish though I do not want to put you in difficulty. You will find me of those who work for bringing people together by removing rifts from between them rather than of those who cause divisions among people by putting wedges between them.

Word HIJAJ is from root HAA, JEEM and JEEM. Concrete meaning of this root is head fracture. Also to test depth of head fracture, to argue, to prove, to defeat in an argument, to visit, to make a journey, to move or make effort towards a goal, to fight, to strive, to make a pilgrimage, to undertake a sacred cause or journey, pilgrim, a year’s work, year, to argue with one another, to dispute with one another, a year or years, evidence, proof, to intend to go for something, to intend to have a go at something, to go for something highly worthy or of huge value, to have many goes at something, to attempt something very many times, to stop something from happening, to stop someone from doing something, to prohibit, to make something unlawful, to declare something illegal, to end up in a civil war, to try to stop each other from having one’s way, to have a clear victory over the rival or opponent, an annual general meeting of members of an association or an organisation to discuss matters of mutual interest, to pay a visit to KABA in Makkah in Saudi Arabia in month of Hajj on a set date decided by lunar calendar. Fence or something like a fence in some sense, camel or something like a camel in some sense etc etc.

28] Moses replied, let this be an agreement between me and you the household on the basis that whichever of the two terms I am able to complete you will not disagree over it because whatever I agree with you is ultimately up to set-up systems and laws of Allah to let me bring this contract to its proper conclusion.

In these verses there are lots of points to ponder over eg roles of men and women in a kingdom based upon guidance of Allah are not decided by Allah but left to people to decide between themselves according to his set goals for mankind to accomplish and his provided guidelines in light of natural situations and circumstances that face people as individuals and as a proper human community. Human beings are obligated to keep each other in check as proper human communities and as individuals so that proper human communities run smoothly. This is why divine program, constitution and laws are supreme and all people as individuals and as institutions are under same level of obligations as a proper human community. Father is not above son nor son is above father, man is not above woman nor woman is above man, teacher is not above pupil and pupil is not above teacher. Administration is not above people it serves and people are not above administration that works for ensuring their well being and is put in place by themselves through mutual consultation. All have their own roles fully defined to play in a properly organised and regulated community and all are accountable to Allah and each other according to law of Allah as explained already in detail. This shows how important it is to have proper sense of divine revelation because all else flows from that fountain of wisdom. If the Quran is not properly understood to begin with then all that is build upon that misunderstanding of the Quran will prove very harmful and destructive for humanity. You cannot just claim something in the name of Allah and it is fine rather you need to prove it that it is beneficial for mankind through proper explanation. This is why no law by mullahs is in fact shariah law if it leads ummah to harms or destructions by hands of each other. Allah never gave any people any guidance that led them to harms or destructions by hand of each other, it is because Allah sent guidance for mankind to save them from such problems. Throughout the Quran Allah explains that only if you follow my guidance that you will have unity, peace, progress and prosperity. There is nothing in the Quran about any people who got harmed or ended up destroyed by hands of each other due to following the guidance from Allah. Every story is all about how prophets of Allah and their followers ended up in blissful, dignified and secure existence by following guidance of Allah. So if we make a law and implement it and then see that it is producing opposite results than the ones expected in line with the Quran then we must have made a serious mistake somewhere along the line so we must revisit the whole thing to check it out. It is easier to do so because we have been given clear goals and guidelines so anything we do that does not lead to accomplishment of those set out goals according to provided guidelines then there is something wrong for sure in what we have understood or done. These verses explain how total strangers become a family if they live on basis of good will for each other and do their best to ensure well being of each other. On the other hand people in the same land become enemies of each other due to giving importance to personal gains at the expense of each other just like people of Pharaoh. In other words there is way of life that causes rifts between people and moves them apart and there is way of life that can remove rifts from between people and bring them closer to each other.

29] After completing the term of his agreement when Moses turned his attention to multitude of his people, he saw fire of hatred between people due to the way of life his people had adopted to live by. He said to his people, hold back yourselves from getting involved in it, I understand things about the fire of hatred so let me go so that I could observe the nature of this fire of hatred so that I could bring you some information about it or a lit torch of knowledge with which you could enlighten yourselves and become united and free of fire of hatred.

Word JAZWAH is from root JEEM, ZAAL and WOW. Concrete meaning of this root is the base of a tree. Also to stand firm, to be erect, a person fully ready for a fight, to be standing on one’s toes, to be ready to take a flight, to be fully prepared to do something or to take an action, firebrand, piece of burning wood, burning branch, to stand firmly upon something, to decide to do something about something, to stand on one’s feet firmly, to have firm foundation, camel or something like a camel in some sense, door or something like a door in some sense, hook or something like a hook in some sense etc etc.

Moses goes on a journey of discovery in order to find out a way of life whereby he could bring his people together and get rid of hatred between them. In other words he takes on his journey of learning from where he left it before an incident forced him to run away from Egypt to Madyan. He must have learned more while in Madyan because he was there for eight or more years. This verse clearly shows when people become wise enough to understand things ie when they realise problems and are looking for some way of solving them. Those who never bother to know the problems and offer blind solutions their solutions do not work. They are just shooting arrows in the dark having no target or sense of target.

30] That is why when he reached that stage of enlightenment, a voice called upon him with proper information on perspective of unity, peace, progress and prosperity of people on basis of a program, constitution and law saying, O Moses, I am Allah the Creator and Sustainer of all the nations in the world.

Word SHAATI is from root SHEEN, TWAA and ALIF. Concrete meaning of this root is to slice something lengthwise. Also to grow lengthwise, to stretch or extend lengthwise, to go along the length of something, to overfill something with water, side or bank of a river, to overburden, to put forth shoots, to sprout, to put out branches, plant shoots, ridge, embankment, a long narrow upper section or crest, ridge of a wave, a long narrow elevated section of surface of the earth, a chain of hills or mountains, a long narrow elevation of land, an elevated body part or structure, a range of hills or mountains, to emerge or develop rapidly, to begin to grow, something resembling or suggestive of a sprout, to grow buds, to allow or cause to come forth, to overload, an aspect or perspective, an angle, a point of view, a side view, to take a different view, to view something differently, to look at something from another angle, side or branch, side of a valley or stream, sea shore, tooth or something like a tooth in some sense, landmark or something like a landmark in some sense, stick or something like a stick in some sense etc etc.

Word BUQAH is from root BAA, QAAF and AIN. Concrete meaning of this root is to have spots of different colours. Also to be spotted or speckled with different colours, glance, aspect, look, appearance, a clever bird that remains alert at all times to ensure there is nothing posing any danger to it, a bird that keeps looking around to sense any predator or danger, a piece of land with spots of greenery as well as dry land without any kind of growth, a crow or a dog or any other animal with spots of different colours, a piece of land that is very different from rest of the land around it, a distinct landscape, stain, irregular patches of colour, piebald, raven, a spot, an enclosed area with trees, to sprinkle, an area or place or region, house or something like a house in some sense, monkey or something like a monkey in some sense, eye or something like an eyes in some sense etc etc.

In the Quran story of people of Moses is brought in repeatedly as a lesson to learn from. In one place one things is emphasised and in another place another and some information is also given in addition to that which connects the bits and pieces together in right order of events. The reason is that in one place the sub-context is different from the other but by bringing them all together the proper context can be discovered. This shows how self aware and aware of universal realities one needs to be to understand the Quran properly and that is important because a person who cannot understand the Quran properly is not able to take humanity forward either because that needs more knowledge than the universal realities or the Quran on its own. Only when a person has all the pieces of information at hand and has sense to make proper sense of them that a person is able to lead mankind along the proper way of life that is advised by Allah. This means there is no place in Islam for people who think they can implement Islam through their stupidity and ignorance. This also shows why God gave man such a powerful brain to discover the secrets of the Quran and the universe. Not only that but that will bring him to realisation about his creator and sustainer which is why God created all that there is ie to express himself by way of demonstrating his creativity for man to give his verdict on that through independently thinking mind. When man will be able to do that, that will be the time when people will become consistent with their creator and the creator will also be consistent with his human creatures. Unity of mankind is only a beginning of this process for the real or ultimate goal after peace, progress and prosperity. It is because till humanity has all its necessities of life it cannot be free enough to concentrate on further plans to take over universal challenges set for it by God to help it test itself as to how capable it is or it has become. This is obvious from mindsets, attitudes and behaviours of those who lack food and drink. What can such a people accomplish in their lives? The question also arises, who put those disadvantaged people in that situation? Stupidity of advantaged people by basing their human societies on personal gains at the expense of each other. It shows how many human beings are allowed to go to waste which is in fact loss of power of humanity therefore its capacity or capability to that degree. If opportunities were provided for them on basis of unity then those people could have been very useful assets for mankind. Coming to words used in these verses, the Quran uses words blessed tree for a way of life that leads mankind to life of unity, peace, progress and prosperity as its fruit or outcome. Right hand or right hand side means the legally sanctioned actions ie being on the right side of the law of God. The point is that people end up hating each other when they stop caring for each other and that happens when people become self centred and live for themselves on basis of personal gains at the expense of each other or they go for survival at the expense of all others against the guidance or law of God. That is why there arises the need for unity to eliminate hate and that is not possible unless people develop community spirit which is not possible unless there is basis for it that motivates mankind and that is where divine revelation proves invaluable. Each and every messenger was given this message for his people and the same happened when Arabs were busy killing each other in their tribal warfare and so was the rest of world that is why the Quran was revealed as the final message to end this hatred between people once and for all. That struggle for unity and peace, progress and prosperity that began more than 1400 years back in time still continues and as time passes if people understood the divine message they will keep coming together till they are all one people living for ensuring well being of each other instead of living for personal gains at the expense of each other. Once humanity is united and in peace it will have nothing else to do other than explore the universe and discover its secret and the secrets told about in the Quran to see how mankind can discover their creator and sustainer for themselves. In this verse Moses is told Allah is RABB ie provider of food and shelter and all the rest that people need including guidance so that people could live in this world properly as they ought to according to guidance of Allah. Moses is told that all belongs to Allah and that is why people must listen to how they should make use of it according to his guidance alone. So all people who think they have right to own anything against the guidance of Allah are called KAFIROON. As already explained word KAFIROON is from root KAAF, FAA and RAA. It means those who hide something from something or someone. It is because people think they own things therefore they withhold them from each other in various ways to prevent others from accessing provisions of God for them. The Quran clearly puts rulers, money lenders, mullahs, their touts and supporters under that label. It is because just as rulers and money lenders hide things of need from masses mullahs too hide guidance of Allah from them by misinterpreting it and misrepresenting it. This is then backed by rulers and money lenders who use mass media to broadcast what serves their purpose on behalf of mullahs and religions in the very name of God in order to fool the masses and to keep fooled for as long as they can.

31] So get your people together upon the foundation you are provided with. However when Moses saw the lengthening list of tasks before him like a giant snake, he was held back and showed hesitation in taking on this responsibility. Allah said, O Moses, get hold of yourself and worry not, you are indeed of those who have been given the task of establishing unity and peace among people to help them progress and prosper as a proper human community.

32] So take this powerful guidance to your very heart, it will prove effective without any problem when you put it before your people properly, so thereby draw people around yourself under your provided umbrella for supporting the mission to free yourselves from life of fear and uncertainty, for these are two clearly effective self evident means from your Creator and Sustainer for you to draw attention of Pharaoh and his chiefs, surely they are a bunch of people who have caused rifts by divisions among people for their personal gains at their expense.

In these verses Allah is explaining to Moses what to do and how to do it and to what end. Allah tells Moses that a proper human being needs two things to make this world a kingdom of God. One is guidance of Allah to use it as a solid foundation to build a human community upon and to regulate it and the other support of people for it. The more people one can gather on the basis of guidance of Allah the bigger the community circle therefore bigger the kingdom based upon guidance of Allah. The only way rulers, money lenders, mullahs, their touts and supporters can be defeated effectively is by people helping each other become literate, educated and trained so that by being able to think at a much higher level than these people one could draw away support of rulers, money lenders and mullahs towards mission of Allah for ensuring well being of mankind. This is how by working hard messengers of Allah and their supporters managed to bring about exemplary kingdoms based upon guidance of Allah.

33] Moses then said, my Creator and Sustainer, I had a fight with one of their people so I am concerned that they will start a fight with me instead of listening to what I have to say.

34] Moreover my brother Aaron is more suited to put your message to them because he is more eloquent and they have nothing against him therefore send him with me as a helper so that he helps me fulfil this task because I am afraid they will deny me the right to speak.

According to the Quran Moses lived away from his people for more than several years so things must have changed in Egypt during this time about which Moses may not have been aware. After being cut off from his people for so many years he may have felt hesitation to reengage with the people. He may have forgotten some things about his language also which may have caused him hesitation to go alone to see Pharaoh and his chiefs.

Word AFSAH is from root FAA, SWAAD and HAA. Concrete meaning of this root is to be able to explain things in such a way that they make sense to the one things are explained to. Also to be able to explain things clearly or properly, to express oneself clearly, to be eloquent, breaking of the down light, to put something before someone distinctively or discreetly or in all its necessary detail, to be able to speak properly without any hesitation or reservation, to be able to speak as one should at a particular occasion, to make obvious or manifest, to show clearly, to use such wording in speech which is adequate for the occasion or serve the purpose fully, to express oneself in such a way that one’s intensions are properly understood by the listener, a faultless or flawless speech, a speech that appears to flow naturally, clarity of expression, a bright morning, proper milk produced by a cow days after giving birth to a calf, freshly milked milk from which froth is removed, to remove impurities from something that is supposed to be pure but impurities becomes mixed with it, mouth or something like a mouth in some sense, tree or something like a tree in some sense, fence or something like a fence in some sense etc etc.

35] Allah said, We will certainly strengthen your arm through your brother and give both of you such a proof that they will not be able to find any inconsistency with your claims regarding Our goals and guidelines. Now proceed with mission based upon Our goals and guidelines because with help of Our guidance you both and those who will support you will surely overcome all those who will oppose you.

Word ADUD is from root AIN, DWAAD and DAAL. Concrete meaning of this root is arm. Also part of arm from shoulder to elbow, help and support or backing, backup or reinforcement, assistance or aid, dam around a pond or well or water reserve to stop water from escaping or to stop things from falling into water by accident, to become joined, to become united, to be one, eye or something like an eye in some sense, tree or something like tree in some sense, door or something like a door in some sense etc etc.

Here Allah promises that if one understands his message properly and follows it faithfully then success is guaranteed. The Quran likens missionary struggle with farming and the reason is, missionary work is like working on a farmland. A farmer takes good seeds from home and buries them in the ground instead of eating them in the hope that they will grow in time and there will be a return many folds. However he has to learn how to become better and better farmer so that his trust grows in his own work and skills. This is how one tests how good a farmer one is through success rate of his work. The same happen for a student who has to test himself repeatedly and go through trails and errors to get to where one has to be. A good missionary also has to do exactly the same ie he has to keep checking how good is his understanding of message of God and how good is his following of it by keeping his eyes on the outcomes of his thoughts and actions. If expectations keep meeting reality then one is on the right track otherwise one has to keep adjusting one’s understanding of the message or one following of it till one get the promised results. A clear proof that deen of Islam is a way of life that is supposed to lead mankind to blissful, dignified and secure existence in this very life as a proper human community that is united, peaceful, progressive and prosperous. It is not at all a system of make beliefs with a set of fixed useless rituals as mullahs will have us believe. This does not mean conviction is not important because one cannot succeed without conviction because it is conviction that makes one work hard and hope for the outcome. If a farmer did not have conviction that his seeds he is burying in the ground will give him return that is many folds he will not bother doing the hard work that he does on the farmland. This conviction cannot come from mere make beliefs but through having reason based knowledge about things as to why one is to do or not to do something. It is same conviction by an inventor of a machine that he hopes one day what he wants to build will do the job he wants it to do. This is how humanity progresses bit by bit in all fields of knowledge as time goes on. It is because individuals try and make sense of things and then try and do them to achieve the objectives by turning their ideas into realities. So mullahs have a lot to learn from well trained and expert people with skills but they do not and instead try to stop people from knowing things because that could expose their ignorance to masses if they became educated.

36] When Moses came to Pharaoh and his chiefs with Our set of clear goals and guidelines they said, this is nothing but invented falsehood and we never heard such a thing from our forefathers of old.

In olden times people used to use word SAAHIR for priests, soothsayers, story tellers, officials, wizards, conjurers, tricksters or jugglers etc and word SIHR was used for their script that they used to recite. Even today if we look at Hindi words like MANDIR= Hindu temple, MANTARA= scriptural text and MANTARY= PROHAT= reciter of scriptural text or mantra. Word MANTARY is used for government ministers in Hindi language in India. SIHR in Quranic context when used by God for people who oppose his message means, turning true scriptural concepts in context of deen into religious concepts, which means falsehood. On the other hand when religious people use same word for people of deen it also means falsehood because according to them deen is a false concept and religion is true concept. This is why when prophets argued with their opponents their opponents accused them of being SAAHIREEN. The same word is used for magicians because they also trick people into seeing what is not actually there by hiding the mechanisms whereby they perform their tricks. Likewise mullahs trick people into religious beliefs instead of telling them to follow deen of Allah. The trick is that all human societies want people to be good people otherwise societies cannot function even a little. This leads societies to define good and bad for themselves. Now if a society is based upon deen of Allah then it decides all what it calls good works and bad works according to that but if a society is based upon the idea of separation between God and the world then people decide good and bad according to that foundation. So people who want to be good in worldly sense do what needs to be done to get what they want out of the world and those who want to look good to themselves before God choose religious dogmas and rituals to try and become pure as much as they want. This creates pyramid and the related schemes or ladder as to how successful one is in reaching the top of the ladder or pyramid. So just as people of deen do all they can to fulfil goals set by deen according to deen set guidelines so rulers try to compete to be greater rulers than each other and money lenders try to richer than each other and likewise so called spiritualists compete to be better than each other or more religious than each other. This is how show up peoples’ thoughts and actions for or against each other and the world becomes what people make it to be. So they either end up in blissful, dignified and secure existence as a society or in hell of their own making. This leaves sufficient room for people either to live for each other or to use and abuse each other through tricks and mechanisms fit for the purpose. The Quran explains the way to blissful, dignified and secure existence as well as the tricks and mechanisms of exploitation that people use to fool each other for their personal gains at the expense of each other. It uses stories of past people to explain things in detail in this context.

37] So Moses said, my Creator and Sustainer makes obvious who it is that comes with proper guidance from Him and which group of people will achieve the better outcome for its future, surely those who inflict harms and destructions upon each other for personal gains at the expense of each other will never succeed in attaining unity, peace, progress and prosperity between themselves or between themselves and the rest of humanity.

The Quran again and again tells people that just because one claims something about God or attributes something to God does not mean it is true just on the face of it rather it has to be proven and the proof is outcome of thoughts and actions of mankind based upon guidance of Allah or in opposition to it according to their own understanding of things. If people will understand guidance of Allah properly and follow it faithfully then outcome has to be unity, peace, progress and prosperity of mankind but if they will not then outcome cannot be unity, peace, progress and prosperity of mankind instead things will go in the opposite direction ie there will be more and more divisions between people, more and more disturbances and wars, stagnation and regression and more and more poverty of all sorts. People who have been observing societies will see what mankind have achieved or failed to achieve or lost. All this is more than sufficient evidence to prove or disprove the Quranic claims. This is what surah 103 AL-ASR is about. It puts forth time as evidence and the events that take place in time ie the Quran puts forth history backed by archaeological evidences as proof whether the way of life the Quran proposes is the right solution for humanity or the ways of life people have tried and tested for themselves. Not only that the outcome also proves for people who claim to be Muslims in particular whether what they claim the message of the Quran to be as they understand it is actually the message of the Quran or have they got it all wrong? If ummah is in terrible state of affairs then that can only mean either the Quran is false or that their understanding of the Quran is false or that they have failed to follow it faithfully. Since proper understanding of the Quran makes perfect sense and it is available yet if people do not take that aboard and follow it faithfully and instead they keep living by their make beliefs and useless rituals then that is not going to lead them to success because it is not deen of Islam. This is how the Quran keeps itself right as well as its proper following and that is the way God always proved his word true.

38] In response to that Pharaoh drew attention of his chiefs to himself and said, O you the Chiefs! I know not any ruler in this kingdom for you people other than myself therefore O Hamaan, impress lofty reputation about me on minds of the people in this kingdom so that thereby I could become more obvious and loftier in comparison to the ruler Moses is talking about even though I assume he is of those who will deny my this claim of being rightful ruler in this kingdom.

Word AWQADA is from root WOW, QAAF and DAAL. Concrete meaning of this root is something that is used for starting up something. Also to trigger something eg a fire or fight or war or movement or campaign etc, a material that can be used as a fuel that can be ignited easily or can catch fire quickly or can be consumed by fire, firewood, extreme heat of the day, to burn, to heat up, to kindle, to glimmer, to be agile, to be alert, to be quick, to shine, to ignite or light up, to lit up something, to give fuel to something, to labour to light, to fuel something in some sense for some purpose, to stir up troubles, to cause troubles to flare up, to cause someone to become angry, to enrage, to provoke, to fuel animosity, to sow the seed of hatred or discord or divisions or troubles, to publicise something, to spread the message, to propagate or promote an idea or ideology, hook or something like a hook in some sense, monkey or something like a monkey in some sense, door or something like a door in some sense etc etc.

Word TEEN is from root TWAA, YAA and NOON. Concrete meaning of this root is basic nature of a person. Also a type of person one is, one’s nature, disposition, something one is inclined to, specific character, natural character, reputation, natural impression something gives about itself, the way something naturally is, bare nature, clay, mud, something like clay or mud in some sense, something that can be moulded into shape or form in some way, something that is capable of being modified in some way from its natural state of existence, something muddy, something coated with mud, to coat with mud, mud bricks, wet earth, a sort of mixture of earth and water, earth that has dried up after being mixed with water, earthenware, something from the earth, essence, to be lying in dust, to be lowly, down to earth, down trodden, to feel defeated or depressed, to create an impression, characteristics of something which help to know about it or to identify it, landmark or something like a landmark in some sense, hand or something like a hand in some sense, fish or something like a fish in some sense etc etc.

Since Moses and Aaron have put before Pharaoh and his chiefs their case regarding God as the sole ruler of this universe Pharaoh refuses to accept that and instead calls on his chief priest to counter that in order to prove Pharaoh the sole rightful ruler of kingdom of Egypt. This verse uses word ILAAH which means God or ruler of the kingdom of the universe or the ruler of a kingdom etc etc. Here Pharaoh claims to be the rightful ruler of Egypt in response to claim of Moses that rightful ruler of this whole universe is Allah alone ie no man has the right to rule over any person or kingdom in this world. It is part of Muslim declaration ie LAA ILAA HA ILLALLAH. It mean there is no ILAAH in this kingdom of the universe other than Allah. This is not about pooja paat of God but about his sovereignty of the kingdom of the universe. Pharaoh claims to be the ruler in Egypt and Moses tells him that he cannot be a ruler of anything because all things belong to God alone and he is the only one with right to rule over it and that is why it is his rule of law that must be accepted by mankind and klived by. This should leave none in doubt as to what deen of Islam is about ie It is not a religion or baseless dogmas and useless rituals but a way of life advised by Allah for mankind to live by to fulfil their needs so that they have a blissful, dignified and secure existence. A book that explains house rules for those who live in this house called kingdom of the universe. A very hard slap on faces of mullahs who claim Islam is a mazhab=religion ie a set of make beliefs and useless rituals. According to the Quran deen of Islam is basically about society, its politics and economics. If the human population organises and regulates itself on basis of the Quran then it could have a great life but if it does not then people will always live a terrible life as explained in great detail in this work on the Quran. This is why it is absolutely necessary for humanity to educate itself about deen of Islam and not to listen to nonsense dished out by mullahs who are fronts for rulers and money lenders who back them up. It is because if mullaism falls then all else supported by it will also fall and disappear and deen of Islam will become the way of life this is why rulers and money lender do all they can to keep people confused about deen of Allah so that they could keep their hold on power and wealth forcing weaker members of society into poverty and self destruction. Here Pharaoh is asking Hamaan to step in to push the idea that Pharaoh has right to be the king in the land. It is because Moses has stood up against this claim of Pharaoh and that is why this opens up doors to debates between the opposing sides. From the way Moses stood up to oppose Pharaoh and his chiefs it appears Moses also had sufficient backing of people to force Pharaoh and his chiefs on back foot otherwise Pharaoh had no reason to let this happen and put his rule in danger. People of Egypt supported Moses because they thought his proposed way of life will serve them better than the way of life proposed by Pharaoh. The Quran talks about a few enemies of humanity in this and other surahs eg Pharaoh represents ruling elite, Hamaan represents priesthood, Qaroon represents money lenders, Samiree represents story tellers who invent false reputations around imaginary figures and spread them or inflate or exaggerate the real stories turning them into supernatural events or superstitions and mysteries. However as times moves on and people do get access to education, things are going to get better and better as falsehood becomes obvious to them as well as the truth. In verses like this it become quite clear that Pharaoh never claimed he was a God nor he asked people to worship him as such and none of the people worshipped him. The fight between Pharaoh and Moses is all about who has the right to rule over each and every bit of the universe and why. So falsehood of mullahs has totally covered up facts about people the Quran talks about including people of Egypt in time of Moses. It is time people re-examined and discovered truth for themselves about stories told in the Quran in light of archaeological evidences. This is another way the Quran proves to be word of God because it tells real stories that have been muddled up by people for a long time.

39] That is how far he, his chiefs and his warriors acted for dominance over the rest of people in the land by undermining them without having the right to do so and all because they thought Our set-up systems and laws will never make them face the consequences of their such harmful and destructive thoughts and actions against each other.

Word ISTAKBAR is from root KAAF, BAA and RAA. Concrete meaning of this root is to seek dominance in some sense. Also to grow big in some way, to increase in some sense, to augment, to spearhead, to lead, to gain significance, to grow tall, to become lofty, to be majority, to be a magnitude, to become old, to become infirm, to seek honour, to show pride, to be arrogant, to become serious, to be awed, worst part of something, a grave or serious crime, dignitaries, leaders, chiefs, praise, exaltations, glorification, deference, regard, respect, to be great or awesome, to case distress, to be burdensome, to be problematic or troublesome, to make things hard or difficult, to be intolerable, to become too much to bear, to grow up, to increase in age, to reach maturity, to grow old, to glorify or magnify or exalt, to utter the invocation, to deem great or awesome or formidable, to act arrogantly or show pride, to behave haughtily or proudly or insolently, to become puffed up with arrogance or pride, conceit, the greatest share of something, something great or much in some sense, intense or heinous, mighty, elder or noble, something of great value or significance, a great or mighty event or happening, palm of the hand or something like the palm of the hand in some sense, house or something like a house in some sense, head or something like a head in some sense etc etc.

This verse explains why Pharaoh and his chiefs and supporters are held in bad light by Allah, because they took over people and land, means of production and distribution and managed them in such a way that helped them gain from it while a huge majority of other people ended up in great loss. This is what is meant by mismanagement of people and resources. In other words they took over people and resources to use and abuse people in the land for their personal gains at their expense. However, in time this led to downfall of Pharaoh and his empire because that is how Allah has set-up this world to work. Something rulers, money lender, mullahs, their touts and supporters have not yet realised. Otherwise they will not have done that or will not continue doing it. The Quran in its stories does not want people to wait for supernatural interventions to change things in the human world rather it gives people all the needed information to learn and plan and organise to do things that need to be done in order to bring about the world the Quran proposes for humanity. This is why after getting messages of God in their hands and understanding them properly all messengers of Allah and their supporters went about on missions to try and change their world for the better. They did not sit around reciting mantras as mullahs tells us for being Godly people. It is also very important to understand that words used in the Quran have different meanings and only appropriate meanings should chosen for appropriate use. For example, God has attributes like QAHAAR, JABBAAR, AKBAR etc etc. These words do not mean that Allah is boaster or bragger or a tyrant or narcissist etc etc. Allah does not tell people things about himself for frightening them as mullahs will have us believe instead attributes of God are told so that people also become like God as much as they humanly can. God is QAHAAR ie he has full control over things so people must also have full control over things but the way God tells them. God is AKBAR ie he is great in every way because each and everything God does he does it in a way that makes him look great, so people must also do things the way God tells them so that they too could end up a great people. God is JABBAAR ie he is the one who keeps things tightly in place in sense of order so that nothing goes wrong and destroys his plan or purpose, so people must also organise and regulate themselves in such a way that whatever they plan for whatever purpose works out for them. It is because mullahs wanted to frighten people into submission of rulers and money lenders so they gave same image to God as well. A clear proof that mullahs are ignorant fools who had no sense how to understand God through his attributes explained in the Quran. It therefore must always be remembered that all attributes used in the Quran for Allah have positive meanings in context of goodness of being of God. In Arabic language most of the roots have positive as well as negative meanings, so it context that decides the meanings of the words used in the Quran. Nobody praises anyone who is not worthy of it whole heartedly nor anyone can. If God is worthy of respect then there have to be qualities for which he is to be appreciated. The Quran begins with idea of a merciful and compassionate God so how can anyone be so stupid to then attribute all sorts of nonsense to person of God? It is clearly a mullah thing to do to attribute nonsense to being of God.

40] However to their surprise We found him and his supporters caught up in the sea of their self created troubles as We forewarned them therefore see what was the end of those who inflicted harms and destructions upon each other for personal gains at the expense of each other?

41] That is why We point them out as leaders of their people of such bad reputation who invented and adopted the way of life based upon personal gains at the expense of each other whereby they invited and led their people into life of painful suffering so they ended up with no support by the time of uprising when their way of life became uprooted and the way of life advised by Allah became established in the kingdom.

42] For that reason We let them to be followed by their self created bad reputation while they were still alive in this world and on the day the deen of Allah became established they were among those who were looked down upon.

Word MAQBOOHEEN is from root QAAF, BAA and HAA. Concrete meaning of this root is something unpleasant and upsetting to look at. Also to be or become bad or evil or foul or ugly, unseemly, to chase away, to repulse, to curse, to not be good, to hate the sight of, to be look down upon, to loath or be loathed, to be rejected, to disdain, to be looked down upon with disgust or hatred or dislike or unfavourably, to be kicked out, to be neglected or ignored, something faulty or defective in some sense, something incomplete, something lacking standard or significance, something disgraceful or debased, someone rebuked or opposed or challenged, someone who is kept away from what is useful or of value, someone who stays away or is kept away from something worthy or of value or significance, monkey or something like a monkey in some sense, house or something lie a house in some sense, fence or something like a fence in some sense etc etc.

As explained already words YAWMAL QIYAAMAH have various complementary meanings ie the day of uprising, the period of time when way of life advised by Allah becomes an established reality, the judgement day in hereafter etc etc. Bad reputation of people not only follows them in this life when they are alive but even after their death people hate such people and even in hereafter they will be disturbed by their own bad reputation. So it is not a good idea to do anything that leads to hatred of other people towards oneself. This verse can also mean we let them to be supported by those who had bad reputation while they were alive in this world and in hereafter they will be of those who will not be looked at favourably. All this because they kept themselves ignorant about the message of God and wider concerns about humanity and did things the way they thought themselves better and ruined many lives without giving them a second thought.

43] The fact is We gave Moses the book - containing Our program with guidelines for constitution and law as well as eye opening evidences for guidance of mankind towards blissful, dignified and secure existence after We had witnessed so many of the former generations of people destroyed by hands of each other due to their keeping themselves ignorant about Our message - so that if these people chose they could strive hard to establish a proper human community properly based upon it.

The reason Allah gave his book to Moses was so that people of his time if they chose could follow the guidance and end up united, peaceful, progressive and prosperous as a proper human community. However just like the generations of people before them only a limited number of people decided to make efforts to educate themselves to benefit from guidance of Allah and the rest ended up the same way as their like people before them. The same is witnessed even today that most of the people are not even bothered to give time to proper understanding of guidance of Allah and those who do most of them do not bothered to prepare themselves sufficiently to be able to properly understand the message to spread it properly so that a proper human community could come about. This is why there is very little change for the better in the real world. Instead people are very busy trying to dominate each other by trying to undermine each other and life is a punishment of hell for almost all people in the world one way or the other.

44] O messenger, you were not present at the time when his community was falling apart and We commissioned Moses to put things right so you did not witness that struggle and situation of his people.

This is a very powerful statement by Allah whereby he informs people that no messenger of Allah can come up with any past, present or future information that is beyond human reach. The Quran contains such information only because it is not from human beings but God. It explains the style of the Quranic text ie it is as if the narrator of the Quranic text is looking at the actual situations and events and telling them to people as if he is giving a running commentary on them. The way the prophet recited the Quran before people also gave a particular clue that it was not work of prophet but of someone else. He never showed any hesitation or any sign or clue as if it was his own speech or discourse with people. All this was impossible to keep up with all his life even if it was to give false impression because human errors show up in many ways of which the Quran text is completely free. To prove the Quran is word of God all bits and pieces had to be exactly right and they are. Something that people of knowledge must ponder over and seriously.

45] However We raised many generations of people after them for whom life became a long and a hard struggle also, such as for people of Madyan but you did not live for a long period of time among people of Madyan proclaiming to them Our goals and guidelines for guiding them instead it were We who sent to them Our messengers in order to guide them to Our advised way of life that could lead them to blissful, dignified and secure existence as proper human communities.

Word TATAAWAL is from root TWAA, WOW and LAAM. Concrete meaning of this root is something that grows in length and strength for some reason. Also length, height or tallness, toughness or hardship, to grow long or tall or strong, to grow in might or strength or power or ability or means or bounty, to be elongated, long piece of rope or string or thread, to overcome, to outdo, to outlast, to become worn out due to facing increase in hardships or troubles, to become drawn out, to be protracted, to become part of the distant past, to imagine something is very long or very hard to do, something that seems long for some reason, to become too or vary prolonged, to become very extended, wealth, sufficiency of means, affluency, covenant, time, vastness, generosity, abundance, capacity, capability, a reference point of some sort for some purpose, something long and strong to tie something very large with it, landmark or something like a landmark in some sense, hook or something like a hook in some sense, ox-goad or something like an ox-goad in some sense etc etc.

Word SAAVIYAA is from root SAA, WOW and YAA. Concrete meaning of this root is to stay put for a long time in a state or place. Also to dwell in the same dwelling or place or area for a long period of time, to remain in same state of existence for a long period of time, to reside, to stay, to dwell, dwelling or abode, animal enclosure, to abide in a place or by a way of life, to live for a long time in one place or according to the very same way of life or tradition, goal or destination, objective, to dwell on same thing, to keep insisting on the very same thing for a long period of time, guest, host, householder, visitor, the guestroom, the reception chamber, a place near about the house for camels to stay, to put something in a place, to put one in a state of mind, to make one stay put, to make one calm down, to put one’s mind at rest, to address one’s concerns or fears, a correction centre, a prison for people who are convicted of committing crimes, a secure place, a rehabilitation centre, any place wherein things or people are put for some reason, house, library, city, kingdom, womb or something like a womb in some sense, hook or something like a hook in some sense, hand or something like a hand in some sense etc etc.

Each and every generation of mankind throughout the world went through struggles of its own due to their responses to messages and messengers of Allah. Those who accepted and lived by guidance of Allah succeeded but those who held back from accepting or opposed the way of life advised by Allah ended up in terribly hard lives due to inflicting harms and destructions upon each other for personal gains at the expense of each other.

46] Moreover you the people yourselves were not on the side of your properly guided ancestral tradition when We called upon you but it was a call with a program for blissful dignified and secure existence from your Creator and Sustainer so that you forewarn the people you are sent to, to whom no warner had come before you so that they strive hard for bringing about a proper human community based upon it

This verse is telling people of this era that it is now their responsibility to take the message of Allah from his final messenger and spread it worldwide so that all people commit to working according to way of life advised by Allah for unity, peace, progress and prosperity of mankind. It means the Quran is final book from God for people to make what they want to make of it and face the consequences. There is one thing certain from this that deen of Islam is here to stay and grow as time goes on and no matter what people do against it they cannot stop it from spreading till it takes over the mankind. It may not spread quickly due to opposition to it but it will continue gaining ground always. So people who are already opposing it or are thinking of opposing it in future must think it over if what they are doing or thinking if doing is worth it.

47] and so that they do not say when destruction befalls them on account of their atrocities against each other for personal gains at the expense of each other, our Creator and Sustainer, had You sent us a messenger then we will have supported Your goals and guidelines and we will have committed ourselves to working according to Your advised way of life for unity, peace, progress and prosperity of mankind.

48] Now that proper way of life advised by Us has come to them for living their lives some of them are saying, why is this messenger from Allah not given the like of what was given to Moses? Have they not covered up with their false interpretations already that which was given to Moses before? When you explain to them how both the messages are basically the same then some of them say, both of them the Torah and the Quran are nothing but falsehood backing each other up! And so, some of them end up saying, we reject and oppose each and every one of them.

This verse explains the problem people face when message of God is presented to them by missionaries of God. The problem is that people look for miracles from people who deliver message of God otherwise they reject the message. The question is, why do they ask for miracles? As explained in detail already rulers, money lenders and mullahs put them up to it in order to keep their control over them by fooling them so that they do not listen to actual message and keep on suffering at hands of their users and abusers due to remaining ignorant about the truth from God. God as can be seen clearly in the Quran is explaining things to people logically and consistently and keeps telling them miracles can serve no purpose whatsoever. Miracles could not teach people how to live their lives properly to fulfil purpose of God for which he created them. It is unnecessary to repeat the full explanation here so one should refer to the explanation of this issue where it has been explained in detail.

49] Say to them, in that case you people can bring your book which you claim is from Allah which proves to be a better guide than these two and I will follow that if what you claim is from God proves true!

This verse sets people with opposing claims about message of God directly and fully against each other to decide the matter once and for all. People who are looking for miracles from God through his messengers are told if you are not willing to look at things according explanations in the Torah and the Quran then prove your claims about God according to your beliefs and assumptions. If then it proves that your explanation is better than what is told in the Torah and the Quran then it is your book that is to be followed not the Torah or the Quran etc. Since there is no book in the world that explains things the way the Quran explains them so the result is obvious that the Quran is truly a message from God and there is no need for any supernatural acts called miracles by a messenger of God to prove it so. It is always the best idea to read a scripture in its original text after having learned all necessary information with reasonably good understanding that is needed for proper understanding of a scripture or to look for the best possible translation or interpretation so that one does not end up having a false impression about a scripture. The main thing to note here is how the Quran puts forth a challenge in order to help people unite on the basis of the truth rather than arguing with each other endlessly over the issue.

50] However if they do not meet this demand of yours, you should come to know that they only follow their own harmful and destructive desires and ambitions and who is more confused and misguided than the one who follows his own harmful and destructive desires and ambitions instead of guidance from Allah that shows clearly what is proper way of living in this world for ensuring blissful, dignified and secure existence of mankind? However guidance of Allah cannot guide a people who are hell bent on inflicting harms and destructions upon each other for personal gains at the expense of each other.

51] Despite people keep ignoring Our advised way of life We have conveyed Our guidance for mankind over and over, again and again so that they could heed Our call for bringing about a kingdom that can ensure their blissful, dignified and secure existence as a proper human community.

52] Those to whom the scriptures were given before this and they studied them properly and accepted them do recognize the Quran as Our message for them also so they commit to working according to it for unity, peace, progress and prosperity of mankind.

53] When the Quran is proclaimed to them they say, we commit to working for unity, peace, progress and prosperity of mankind according to it because it is truly from our Creator and Sustainer and we are already committed to working for unity, peace, progress and prosperity of mankind before receiving this new revelation in form of the Quran.

People who study things properly they have no problem in recognizing similar things as well as the things which are different from each other. Each thing has its own characteristics or properties or clues which help people recognise it for what it is and therefore it can be categorised or classified or labelled etc etc.

54] Suchlike are the people who labour twice as hard or much harder with consistent steadfastness for replacing the way of doing things the harmful and destructive way for personal gains at the expense of each other with a way of doing things that can lead mankind to blissful, dignified and secure existence so that thereby they could open up sustenance for mankind which We have provided for them.

Word YADRAOON is from root DAAL, RAA and ALIF. Concrete meaning of this root is to support one thing in some way to help it overcome another thing in a conflict. Also to aid one side in some way to help it overcome the other side in a conflict, to try to replace one thing with another in some way, to rebuke or refute or oppose something in some way, to move or remove or shift something in some sense, to confront someone suddenly, to come face to face with something all of a sudden, to avoid, to avert, to remove something or someone by force, to condemn, to stand against, to resist, to contain, to shield, to defend, to aid or assist, to make something or someone go away, to push about each other during a fight, to compensate, to dispute, to delay, to come upon suddenly, to spread out, to hide, to shelter, a hideout, to repel, to overcome, to hide behind one another, to accuse one another, to dispute with one another, to connive with one another in order to conceal something, an obstacle or an obstruction, fence, door or something like a door in some sense, head or something like a head in some sense, stick or something like a stick in some sense etc etc.

This verse is making a very important points that when a people work together with other people it increases them in strength so the work load becomes distributed as a result eg if there was one person inviting others towards a program for unity, peace, progress and prosperity of humanity and one more person joins that person then one can see how work load becomes half and the benefit doubles. Likewise if one who takes steps against human community gets support, his work load also decreases to half and harm and destruction also doubles. So one can see how supporting human community life on basis of proper foundation makes world a better place and how opposing it makes the world a worse place. This is why when people who followed earlier scriptures joined with people of new scripture it benefitted them greatly because the numbers of new followers of new scripture was greater which added to their effectiveness. The other point made is that people must oppose harmful and destructive forces because if they will not do that then those forces will keep on gaining and a point will be reached in due course when human society will become destroyed. This whole fight is said to be about proper management of people and resources, means of production and distribution. Once again the Quran makes it clear that divine guidance is all about establishment of proper human community that revolves around politics and economics not baseless beliefs and useless rituals. A clear distinction is made between DEEN and MAZHAB. A society wherein people live as a single united family has no room for charity because it cannot suffer such poverty whereby some of its people are rich and others poor. That is because they all work together and share whatever they produce. This is why ZAKAAH is not 2.5% wealth tax on the rich for the poor. This is a con trick by mullahs on behalf of their masters, the rulers and the money lenders. It is because Muslims cannot be a divided community whereby some use and abuse others, the very minute one introduces concept of use and abuse into the ummah, the ummah concept falls apart. A divided community is no community at all, it is just a jumble of human population like animals in a jungle who do as they please to each other. The ZAKAAH concept pushed by mullahs is a very damaging idea for a people because it divide people between haves and have nots and thereby kills human community spirits. The Quranic ZAKAAH is an economic system that ensures growth of people as a community in a dignified way whereby all people in such a society feel secure. That is how Islam is basically about brotherhood and which brother gives charity to his brother? A family is a family so human being must come to realise that, the sooner the better. This is why there is no concept of profit based business in Quranic Islam because humanity as a family comes first not profit. RIBAA concept is not about interest on the money lent to each other but actual profiting from each other’s needs. A Muslim has to be there for his Muslim brother in time of need and one only borrows when in need. So when one brother needs help and other brother tells him I can help you but I must profit from that what kind of brotherhood is that? Islam is anti personal gain to begin with, so mullahs are clearly on the wrong side of the Quranic concepts. They need to properly understand terms used in the Quran eg RIBAA, ZAKAAH, MAASH, TIJAARAH, BAEE etc etc. Islam is all about proper management of people and resources, means of production and distribution and that is fulfilment of all needs of human community. This means handling production and distribution of things properly for the benefit of the community. Mullahs are desperate to Islamise capitalism or communism or a mixed economic system but none of them fits the Quranic concept of brotherhood. Islamic system is a family based system that is why the concept of brotherhood or ummah or nationhood or community. The other main point made here is the concept of what is good and what is bad. One cannot change bad with good unless one has clear idea as to what is really good and what is really bad. Anything people do for bringing about a proper human community based upon the way of life advised by Allah that can lead humanity to blissful, dignified and secure existence is good and anything done to delay or oppose it is bad because that can only hold humanity in terribly painful state of existence. So if people want to change bad with good then they need to bring about a society and a culture that goes with this concept. Doing so called good deeds without having any goal in mind is not going to bring about the needed sea change in the real world. This is why the Quran keeps telling us, it is the way of life that needs to be changed to proper way of life if people want a good life as a proper human community. Merely tinkering around the edges will only prove futile. It is necessary that all members of a society live by same rule so that they could secure their interests but since all people are not equal so some can get away with more than others therefore the rule has to be such that reasonably compensates for the natural differences between people and that is why deen of Islam is the real solution for all problem of humanity.

55] So when they sense any harmful and destructive elements among them plotting harms and destructions against the proper human community they try to move them away from such thoughts and actions saying, our socially obligatory thoughts and actions are necessary for us to carry out just as your thoughts and actions are necessary for you to carry out and that is because we are all obliged to ensure you the people’s united, peaceful, progressive and prosperous existence as members of the very same community so we cannot look to you for an ignorant response to our social obligations.

The Quran has verses in it wherein it wants its proper followers to keep their opponents and improper followers in check so that they do not succeed in causing troubles in a properly balanced human community. The Quran enjoins upon Muslims as an ummah to ensure well being of humanity as a whole as far as it is possible for the ummah at any given time in any given place. The concept that you do as you like and I will do as I like is not the Quranic concept at all when some people in society get busy with harmful and destructive thoughts and actions against others. Mind your own business idea is fine in the sense that none should unnecessarily bother or cause troubles for others. It does not mean leave troubling elements in the society free to do as they please. If troubling elements in a society were not dealt with appropriately in time then that could pose a serious threat to a proper human community in time to come. So minding one’s own business idea can only and only help speed up destruction and downfall of the proper human community. If no person bothered to know what others are doing or what is happening to others then imagine what will become of humanity due to people ignoring and neglecting each other. All will gradually become isolated from each other and will be forced to suffer in silence. Is that what we want? Of course not, it is therefore necessary that rules and regulations are in place whereby whole human population lives or there will be no end to chaos and confusion in the world. All people realise that policing or law and order is a necessity. There cannot be absolute freedom in the world but yes there has to be limited freedom within social context which ensures the balance between freedom of expression and the related consequences. This freedom has to be based upon proper principles rather than list of baseless inconsistent elements. Freedom of thought is fine but freedom of expression of thought has to be limited because if people were left free to act freely upon their ideas and beliefs then many of the ideas and beliefs being harmful and destructive for human community could destroy humanity itself. This is where the Quranic goals and guidelines could prove invaluable for humanity which cannot be surpassed.

56] O messenger, you cannot make any people adopt the proper way of life by force just because you love them so you do not want to see them destroy themselves rather it is up to plan and set-up of Allah who guides only those who work hard on proper understanding of His guidance and that is how he makes obvious those who love to be guided.

Word YUJBAA is from roots JEEM, BAA and WOW/YAA. Concrete meaning of this root is to gather. Also to collect or pile up or hoard or fill up or store, pools, cauldrons, basins, to collect water in a pond or place or pot or utensil, collected drinking water, to request, to select, to invent, to kneel down, to collect taxes or dues, to collect things for future use, to reserve, to choose, to single out, to fabricate, to forge, to do something by oneself, large pools or watering troughs, to gather wealth or power, to gather goods or animals, to attract, to draw attention or focus of something towards oneself, to pull something towards oneself, to get anything from anywhere, to be a collector, to pick, camel or something like a camel in some sense, house or something like a house in some sense, hook or something like a hook in some sense, hand or something like a hand in some sense etc etc.

Here another very important point is made very clear that people must educate themselves to begin with and then be educated and convinced about the divine message till they realise and adopt the way of life that leads them to unity, peace, progress and prosperity. It is not possible to force people to adopt a way of life because force does not work and you cannot be there standing on the head of each and every person to ensure one does not step out of the imposed way of life. It has to come from inside a person oneself to see the need for living one’s life in a particular way. It is about winning hearts and minds of each other through help of guidance of Allah. So long as humanity itself does not realise that it must adopt a particular way of life for its own growth and development it will remain in chaos and confusion therefore education is must for all. Islamic law is more about regulating a Muslim society rather than forcing people to live in a particular way. If any unwanted law is imposed upon a people they will always find ways to break it. This is because social mindset, attitude and behaviours cannot be modified without proper education that is sufficiently convincing. This is why struggling for better education of mankind is a JIHAAD and that is why in the Quran God tells the prophet to make JIHAAD using the Quran ie use the Quran to help people educate themselves about the way of life they should adopt voluntarily ie deen of Islam is basically about a self regulated human community. It is because no way of life adopted by people has better arguments than found in the Quran for promoting a way of life that can lead mankind to unity, peace, progress and prosperity.

57] However some of those who do not wish to be guided say, if we go along with you and accept this guidance, we will be driven out from our lands, but have We not given them a secure ground to live in unity and peace to progress and prosper to which are attracted worthy outcomes of all kinds that ensure well being of mankind as a provision from Us? Yet most of the people do not use sense to understand things properly.

Whenever people will truly accept Quranic way of life they will try to establish divine kingdom and in that process some will have to lose their homes so that they could go and live in such places where a population has managed to establish such a kingdom. Such excuses therefore become invalid that if one accepts the message of the Quran then one will be persecuted therefore one should leave it alone. If deen of Islam is true way of life for humanity then people must accept it and do all they can as individuals and as groups to help establish it in reality. Divine kingdom cannot be brought about by one person or even a few in a place where the rest of the population opposes creation of such a kingdom. So most likely place wherein such a kingdom could be established is wherein live most of the proper followers of the Quran who know what it says and help others to know it also. So there is a possibility that even a single proper Muslim can turn people round to his way of thinking and so a nonMuslim population could turn Muslim and establish a divine kingdom that way. Some of the prophets were in that situation as well as the Quran itself tells us clearly. However in that case a Muslim has to be highly knowledgeable, courageous and energetic because establishing a divine kingdom is very demanding. It is very demanding to become knowledgeable oneself and without courage it is not possible to face opponents and then plenty of energy is needed to put across for consumption of others what one has learned oneself in a way that others are convinced and persuaded to join in for the purpose of creating a divine kingdom. The prophets were able to do this but so called Muslim ummah has failed to do so for centuries. The main reason is ummah has become slave of mullahs through their make belief Islam and useless rituals. This is nothing new the same had happened to past ummahs after the deaths of their prophets. The dominant people always rose from within ummahs to take control of things and then they misled their whole communities for personal gains at their expense. So this verse is drawing our attention to a particular mindset, attitude and behaviour. These people do not realise that sooner rather than later they will lose what they have due to the way of life the people have adopted for themselves. It is based upon personal gains at the expense of each other. This is why rich get richer and poor get poorer in due course. A way of life that forces each and every person to be unpleasant or rather cruel to all others because otherwise you cannot get from others what they have. So the more cruel and oppressor and suppressor a people are the more they gain and that is what capitalism is all about and as time goes on it will be proven beyond a shadow of doubt. In this system you compete against all others to earn your living or for your survival, so you cannot survive if you show any sign of weakness to others whom you take for your rivals or competitors because they are also hunters looking for easy prey. The cat will catch the bird that cannot fly due to broken wing. This is why all rich people prey on poor in various ways to take undue advantage of them so the idea that such populations are civilised people is a joke or stupidity of people who think that way. The proof is poor populations in each and every population and their treatment at hands of their own fellow countrymen. Not only that one should also see that the world is divided into first world, second world and third world so one should ask oneself why? This is why Islam is not what mullahs tell us because they are ignorant about deen of Islam or that they work for rulers and money lenders and fool Muslims on their behalf so if people really want to know deen of Islam then they can know it from the Quran which wants all people to be one people as well as a people worth the name as human beings.

58] How many kingdoms have We let live their own way because they opposed Our guidance so they ended up destroying themselves that were once upon a time flourishing economies due to following Our advised way of life from which they moved away? Just see those dwellings of theirs only a few of which have been inhabited after them and We Alone became their inheritors.

This verse tells us, no matter how resourceful the land is wherein a people dwell if they do not prepare themselves to be a civilised people who take human community life as basis of their existence then sooner rather than later they end up divided and that leads them to self destruction. Originally people were like animals and once they rose to sufficient awareness they were guided by Allah through his revelations and those who followed guidance flourished the while they continued but as they fell away from that way of life they became divided on basis of personal gains at the expense of each other so they ended up destroyed by hands or each other.

59] It was never consistent with plan of your Creator and Sustainer that He should ever leave a people on their own to destroy themselves but that He always sent in their capital city in a kingdom a messenger proclaiming to them Our goals and guidelines for them to follow that is why We never left any kingdom on its own to destroy itself but after they rejected Our guidance and became of those who inflict harms and destructions upon each other for personal gains at the expense of each other.

60] As for things which you have been provided with, they are for you to make use of for living your lives in this world beautifully by means of them and that which you are given from your Creator and Sustainer makes your life beautiful and long lasting, so why don’t you use your intellectual ability to make proper sense of things and use them properly?

This like verses in the Quran tell mankind that you are material beings whose existence depends upon material things that have been provided but all this is useless unless you base your human community upon solid foundation provided by your creator and sustainer in form of his guidance towards a way of life that can lead mankind to blissful, dignified and secure existence.

61] Can a party to whom We have made a handsome promise of blissful, dignified and secure life and it is sure to find it fulfilled - if it understands properly and follows faithfully Our advised way of life - be like the party to whom We have granted the provisions of this world and it ignores Our guidance about using them therefore is set to bring upon itself period of upheavals as a consequence of its own harmful and destructive thoughts actions against each other?

62] At that time kingdom based upon My guidance will become established and they will be called upon to explain to My missionaries, where are My partners in sovereignty of this universe which they took as rulers for themselves?

63] Those rulers, money lenders and priests who will be proven guilty as charged will say, our Creator and Sustainer, these are the people whom we led astray but we led them astray as we ourselves were led astray by ourselves following our ancestors and our own make beliefs therefore we did harmful and destructive things to each other. However we plead our innocence before Your missionaries that it were not us they were under control of.

64] Then masses will be told, appeal for your safety and security to those whom you took for your rulers so they will appeal to them but will get no response. They will see the painful suffering with their own eyes so they will wish they had accepted Our guidance and lived by it.

65] Moreover they will be asked at the time, how did you respond to Our messengers or missionaries, did you support them or declared wars against them?

66] They will be so awe struck at that time that their responses will be haphazard as all their arguments will be seen by themselves to be weak and they will be lost for words even when asking one another for help to build their defence.

67] However the party that will have turned to Our guidance and will have committed to working for unity, peace, progress and prosperity of mankind therefore will have taken actions to help humanity come together and develop and prosper will have hope to be among those who will be successful in achieving their goals.

68] That is how your Creator and Sustainer evolves whatever He has planned through process of natural selection and it is not possible for such things to continue surviving as do not have what it takes for them to survive. It is not for them the opponents of His guidance to choose and assign the powers like that of Allah to whomever they want because sovereignty only belongs to Allah and He is far more powerful than those whom they take for rulers other than Him.

In verses like these the point made is very clear that there are set-up systems and laws in the natural universe and if people will not live by revealed laws of God then they will be forced to live by laws of nature whereby only those things survive which meet requirements of survival standard and that is something out of reach of rulers people take for themselves to live their lives by. The reality in real world does not change just by one saying this thing is God or that thing is God=ruler ie the one with proper knowledge and right to dictate laws being the creator and sustainer of the universe. Even though Pharaoh claimed he is God but his rule was only within borders of Egypt and only over things that were already there in natural world ie he did not originate anything from nothing so his claim to Godhead and sovereignty over anything at all was false. This is how all false claims fall apart. God has given mankind choice to live by his revealed guidance or fall victim to laws of nature and suffer the consequences. This is why it is very important to understand the plan and purpose of God as to why he created the world and the way he did and the way he made it work.

69] This is the way your Creator and Sustainer makes obvious for all to see all the potentials people conceal in their very selves and all that they reveal of their abilities.

Allah knows whatever motives people have in their minds for thinking and doing what they think and do and whatever they plan about each other but all is made known in due course through actions of people themselves against each other or for each other. If they have done something due to which humanity benefits then it is good otherwise humanity will suffer and that is why following divine program and laws is necessary for mankind to prevent harm and destruction to human community.

70] Such is Allah other than whom none has the right to rule because to Him alone belongs honour of sovereignty of this kingdom of the world for ever from one end of the universe to the other and that is why to make all decisions about all affairs of the universe rests with Him alone.

The Quran defines use of word ILAAH and leaves no ambiguity about it. It does not mean some deity looking for worshippers in form of pooja paat. The Quranic ILAAH is creator and sustainer of the universe and all that is in it and provider of programs for all things to work accordingly so that his purpose could fulfil. He is the sole being who has the right to rule the universe so there is none like unto him. Therefore anyone who claims or accepts rule of any other unless under compulsion cannot be a true follower of the Quranic way of life. This is why people who claim to be Muslims yet follow nothing other than whatever their mullahs tell them need to think about this whole religious business seriously. Shirk is all about setting up kingdoms in the name of other than Allah and implementing manmade laws which benefit some at the expense of others and that is what turns our world into a living hell. This also exposes religious falsehood. Allah is a ruler and he wants mankind to live by his rule and laws so that world become a blissful, dignified and secure place for mankind to live in. A very clear proof that Islam is fundamentally about community life, politics and economics not about make beliefs and useless rituals that have no benefits for humanity whatsoever. This is why Islam is a DEEN not a MAZHAB that mullahs push down throats of ignorant masses turning them into good for nothing people. A reason for which they try to prevent people from getting education.

71] Say to people, consider for mankind the benefits due to the process of alternations between the day and the night, have you people ever thought that had Allah decided to keep you the mankind in the state of darkness of the night permanently then which Gods/rulers of yours other than Allah could bring you the day so that there could take place natural processes for you and in your bodies that need to take place during the daylight? Will you still not consider this revelation as a proper guidance for your blissful, dignified and secure existence?

Word SARMADAA is from roots SEEN, RAA and DAAL and SEEN, RAA, MEEM and DAAL. Concrete meaning of this root is something that is constant. Also something that is permanent or consistent, something continuous, something incessant, something endless or perpetual, to put thing in a consecutive manner, to relate things in a sequence, to interweave, coat of mail, to make a coat of mail, to make linkages or linking mechanisms in a coat of mail, to make something constant or consistent or unending or permanent, to leave no gap or let or break in something, to make something purposefully flawless or fault free or foolproof, something free of holes or defects, proof, security, protection, something that keeps on going for ever, tooth or something like a tooth in some sense, head or something like a head in some sense, door or something like a door in some sense, water or something like water in some sense etc etc.

72] Ask them also, what if Allah had decided to keep you the mankind constantly under the daylight, which of your Gods/rulers other than Allah could bring you the darkness of the night so that there could take place for you and even within you processes that need to take place during the darkness of the night? Will you still not bother to observe and understand things properly that you need to know for your own unity, peace, progress and prosperity?

73] No matter what you the mankind think, it is to fulfil your needs and wants that He has evolved for you the process of alternating the night and the day so that you could refresh and recoup yourselves and therefore you could make new efforts on daily basis to carry out His set out tasks for you so that you use all He has provided for you purposefully properly as He has guided you.

Verse after verse in this surah Allah is now drawing attention of people to real world realities to observe and learn from as to how to use his provided things properly as per his guidance. The Quran here clearly explains the reason why Allah is explaining things for mankind, so that people live the way he is explaining to them and that is because he has a purpose for creating people which they must serve. It is therefore better that people consider his guidance seriously and avoid painful suffering which otherwise cannot be avoided if people continued living as they wished disregarding each other’s concerns.

74] Therefore an era is coming when His missionaries will confront such people who take for themselves rulers other than Him saying, where are those rulers whom you took for partners in My sovereignty of the kingdom of this world?

All these verses are making very important points for proper understanding of mankind. The whole Quran is full of verses that keep drawing our attention to natural world the way it has been brought about and made to work and the purpose it serves. Allah has set-up systems, structures, processes, mechanisms, procedures, laws and practices which if observed and understood properly should leave mankind in no doubt who owns this world. It is not possible for mankind to escape the thoughts the Quran talks about even if they never read the Quran in their life. If learned people in the world ever read the Quran properly they will have no hesitation in accepting the fact that the Quran represents their thoughts perfectly. Only those people who are under influence of mullahs and their opponents who have educated themselves out of religious nonsense but have not yet enabled themselves properly to considered the scripture itself in light of their own self awareness and their awareness of universal realities could have their own nonsense views about the Quran due to their own ignorance about it. This is why Muslims who have proper knowledge of the Quran must come forth and play their part so that the human world could see for itself what the actual message of the Quran is in its own proper context. It must be realised by all sensible people that the Quran is not a book of make beliefs and nonsense rituals that mullahs attribute to it due their own ignorance or other motives. According to the Quran Allah has not created anything more powerful than mankind and the power of mankind lies in their God given brains and senses. The Quran keeps pointing out for mankind so many verifiable facts in relation to all kinds of things. This verse in itself is very interesting because it is telling people that if you will misbehave then one day you will be forced to question yourselves as to why you did things the way you did that got you into a situation that you regret now when all along you were told not to go down that road because it lead to hell of your own making.

75] That is how through Our each and every missionary We will confront each and every human population saying, produce your proof for rulers you have taken for yourselves other than Allah. They will have none and that is how they will eventually come to realise the fact that this Quran is in fact from Allah because it tells them the proper way to live and because the way of life which they will have invented and followed will land them in abyss.

Word NAZA is from root NOON, ZAA and AIN. Concrete meaning of this root is to pull something out of something in some sense for some reason. Also to uproot something from its place, to be uprooted, to be chosen or selected for some purpose, to pick, to remove, to separate, to cause separation or divide or isolation, to create dispute or to fall in dispute, to strip someone off of something in some sense, to take away one’s right to something, to dismiss, to take something out, to destroy, to pull, to pull the string of the bow to shoot an arrow, to dislodge or become dislodged, to lose one’s place or position in some sense, to make one lose one’s place or position in some sense, to disgrace, to sack, to resign, to take something out by pulling, to disappear in one place and reappear in another place, to bring out one’s true character or ability or skill or strength, or potential, to take something away from something by force, to educate, to grab off something of someone forcefully, the grabbing away of something of each other in a friendly and playful way in a some sort of gathering of close friends, to grab something worthy of each other for the benefit of each other eg learning and teaching process between people to improve their society or community, to encourage each other to do something good or bad as a group or society or community, to support or oppose each other, to strip off, an archer, to incline, to take after, to walk briskly, to strive, to desire, to exchange, fight, to contravene, to raise controversy, to remove, to withdraw, to abolish, to sweep away, to tear away, to peel off, to pluck out, to root out, to contend with, to be at variance with one another, to fall into dispute with one another, to debate, to discuss an issue, to discard, rising and setting of stars, charging horses, to differ with one another, to pass on something to each other, to share something in a friendly manner, fish or something like a fish in some sense, tool or weapon or instrument or something like a tool or weapon or an instrument in some sense, eye or something like an eye in some sense etc etc.

These verses make very important points that having different rulers leads to conflicts between people and where there are conflict there cannot be unity and peace therefore progress and prosperity as it ought to be. Not only that but each day that passes makes situation worse and that is why one day people will find themselves in a situation which will force them to think what has got them into this situation. The only way out of that situation will be giving up every other way of life and adopting the way of life proposed by the Quran. It is because missionaries for deen of Allah will keep on encouraging and challenging people to think and this is how one day people will come to realise their mistakes and change their ways of life to what they should have adopted right from the very beginning once they were informed about it by Allah.

76] Qaroon was surely one of the people to whom Moses was sent because he sought domination over them by undermining them and that was due to Our letting him gather some wealth for himself at the expense of others to carry the chests of which could weigh down a party of strong men. Seeing his harmful and destructive behaviour against others based upon his ambition for dominance his people said to him at the time, do not stand against the establishment of way of life based upon guidance of Allah because Allah loves not those who stand against the establishment of His advised way of life for mankind.

Word TANOO is from root NOON, WOW and ALIF. Concrete meaning of this root is to feel buried under weight of something in some sense. Also to carry a weight or responsibility with great difficulty or discomfort, to find difficulty in meeting one’s responsibilities, to find it hard to fulfil one’s duty, to find difficulty in rising up after having been placed some sort of weight on top of oneself, to feel under great burden, something that weighs down someone, a star approaching its celestial setting point, to be weighed down with difficulties or troubles or hardships, to be strained by, to succumb under a heavy load, to collapse under weight of some sort, hostilities or fights or wars, to over burden, to weigh down, fish or something like a fish in some sense, hook or something like a hook in some sense, stick or something like a stick in some sense etc etc.

It should always be kept in mind that when the Quran tells us something about something, it is a fact but that does not mean we understand it properly till we have carried out our own research about it that helps us understand what the text of the Quran is actually saying. Here the Quran tells us Qaroon was one of the people of Moses but the question is, does it mean the people of tribe of Moses or the people of Egypt? Because Moses was sent as a messenger by God to all Egyptians not just to people of a small tribe in Egypt. One person talked about in the Bible is Korah or Korach who was Moses cousin but he opposed him through priesthood. He was top leader among them at the time. Does the Quran mean that person or someone else remains to be found out. There are some problems with original Biblic texts so people should wait till truth comes out through works by explorers and not take for define the stories in the bible to prove truth in the Quran. Even Moses may be a different person than the one believed by Jews. Only discoveries in due time will reveal the real truth therefore people must show patience in matters that are not yet clear. The Quranic stories are facts but those facts should be taken as yet undiscovered till people become better equipped to discover the actual truth. The Quran talked about a lot of science related truths but they could not be known till they were discovered likewise past events make no sense till all or main pieces are discovered and put together successfully. For the time being we can only draw lessons from the stories as we understand them so far but we must remain open minded about what the actual truth may be when it becomes known in due course.

77] Therefore seek all you need according to the way of life advised by Allah which can lead you to a brilliant future in form of a blissful, dignified and secure existence as a part of a proper human community so do not neglect your responsibilities towards making the world a beautiful place and make it as beautiful as Allah has obliged you therefore do not conspire for divisions and wars between people in the world because Allah does not approve thoughts and actions of people who are warmongers.

Here we are told that not all people are totally stupid in any human population some are a bit more sensible than others. Sensible people as far as they can think do speak up from time to time but most of the time such people are stopped from speaking their minds by tyrants and oppressors who become intoxicated with sense of having power and wealth so they do not consider them sensible. It is because they do not learn the fact that there is another way to live than the one they have invented and adopted for themselves to take undue advantage of others. In this case people tell Qaroon to be a sensible person.

78] He replied, all that has come into my possession is due to virtue of my own cleverness. Did he not know that Allah left many generations of people before him to their own chosen ways of life based upon personal gains at the expense of each other whereby they ended up destroyed by hands hand of each other and they were mightier than him and had greater number of personal possessions than him and his supporters? However at the time of consequences of their crimes against each other such criminals are not asked for their explanations of their crimes against each other because their crimes are self evident by their own actions against each other.

In this verse a very important point is mentioned about mindset, attitude and behaviour of Qaroon. He claims whatever he has, it is due to his own knowledge and hard work so the human community of which he is part has no right to it whatsoever. In other words he is telling his creator and sustainer, your advised way of life is not for me because I have my own way of life to live by. The question is, why he is saying this? It is because he has what he needs and so long he has what he needs he needs no God or people to help him. However the fact is, he is product of his society. He comes from his parents, his mindset, attitude and behaviour also comes from the society that has raised him. It shows that if a society brings up its children according to a way of life based upon personal gains at the expense of each other then it will be made to regret its way of life one day when enough people of this mindset, attitude and behaviour become its members. It is because such a society is not making its individual appreciate the contributions made towards individuals by the society. So fruit tells us what kind of tree has brought it forth. Allah confronts such people by asking them, did you create yourself? Did you create anything you say is yours? The whole human body is product of nature which means a human is fully dependent upon whatever has brought him forth and helps him survive therefore it is only right that he gives back to nature what he owes it. Since humans also played part in all he is and all he can do so humanity also has claim on what anyone is and what anyone can do regardless one accepts this fact of life or not. In the story of Moses and his people the Quran talks about four main characters that worked against divine mission a) Pharaoh b) Hamaan c) Qaroon and d) Saamiree. Pharaoh used and abused people as a chief ruler, Hamaan used and abused people as a chief priest, Qaroon used and abused people as a chief money lender and Saamiree used and abused people as a chief spreader of made up stories among masses. Each of these characters took people away from proper teachings of divine guidance which brought them to life full of regrets in form of worries, anxiety and poverty of all sorts. All these characters united against Moses yet he managed to overcome them just like divine messengers in the past eg Joseph etc. This story of people and Moses gives hope to humanity that all is never lost rather at a certain time a person can rise from among the very same people and turn the whole human population round. Of course, it is not an everyday thing.

79] Regardless at length he came out before his people with his entourage to impress his people so those who had desire for life of power and wealth said to each other, we wish we also had the like of that which Qaroon has! He is surely a man who has great power and wealth.

80] However those who were endowed with proper knowledge based upon guidance of Allah said to them, how regretful that you express desire for such kind of life which is built upon blood, sweat and tears of others! Set-up systems and laws of Allah can deliver those who commit to working for unity, peace, progress and prosperity of mankind as a proper human community with much better life than this through works that are fit for this purpose. However no people can attain that sort of existence save those who work hard constantly and steadfastly.

The Quran repeatedly tells mankind that no people can have a blissful, dignified and secure life unless they work for well being of each other therefore so long as people will work against each other as rivals and enemies they will remain in painful suffering always by hands of each other. Religions will always fail people due to religious sectarianism and secularism will also fail people due to social, political and economic etc divisions. This surah makes obvious for mankind power and wealth pyramid scheme whereby people make life of each other hell by pigeonholing or tightly binding each other up in this way of life. This is a way of life which was invented and adopted by people originally but has taken over humanity that now if any people want to free themselves from it they cannot unless all keep on educating each other and all decide at once enough is enough and stop living this way and start living the way Allah has guided them to escape this way of life.

81] In due course due to Our set-up systems and laws the foundation upon which was built his and his supporters way of life lost its attraction and he had no host to help him against set-up systems and laws of Allah nor was he able to attract supporters for his way of life

Word KHASAF is from root KHAA, SEEN and FAA. Concrete meaning of this root is disappearance of something in some sense. Also to cave in, to collapse, to give in, to yield, to become emaciated, to become barebones, to become thin, to become narrowed down, to become down sized, to have bare minimum of something, to lose glitter or attraction or appeal, to eclipse, to become shadowed, to hide behind something, to take cover, to go under the shadow of, to live under the shadow of, to become covered, to subside, to lose one’s prestige or position or status, to lose one’s worth or value, to lose what one has, to become less intense or severe, to abate, to become less active, to lose influence, to sink to the bottom, to settle down, to calm down, to become smaller, to become less prominent or important or insignificant, to disappear into the earth, to become swallowed by the earth, to be pushed into the ground, to become low profile or less noticeable, to humiliate or disgrace, to decease, to be hungry, to go into an eclipse, to go into hiding deep into the earth, to destroy completely, to ruin utterly, to become buried deep into the ground or under the earth, to keep animals tied up without food, to be cruel, to spend a night without food, to become thin and weak or infirm, to break the back of, moon eclipse, fence or something like a fence in some sense, tooth or something like a tooth in some sense, mouth or something g like a mouth in some sense etc etc.

Word DAAR is from root DAAL, WOW and RAA. Concrete meaning of this root is to go around but keep coming back to the same place. Also circle, round, compass whereby one draws a circle, compass that points to the north to help people travel about the earth, house, dwelling place, the very foundation of something upon which something stands or is built, something from which something hales or rises, environment, township, area, region, city, kingdom, a place where in one spends the night or stays, one’ home, the world, time, era, a time period, disaster, catastrophe, the changing fortune, death and destruction, to encircle, to overwhelm, inhabitants in a place, dwellers, citizens, exchange of goods, money changers, money or wealth in circulation or changing hands, to go round, to turn, a halo, a frame, a wide open space between mountains, to treat, to manage, to have setback, to be afflicted, to dispute with, to dissuade, to roll, to run, to operate, to transact, to hand, to exchange, mansion, abode, neighbourhood, village, the hereafter, the future, a bad turn of fortune, door or something like a door in some sense, hook or something like a hook in some sense, head or something like a head in some sense etc etc.

When a people are set-up to act against other, it does not take very long before all become victims of the very same thing and if people are brought to senses to change their ways then things can be handled but otherwise they cause a collapse of a society. This is why power and wealth based pyramid scheme fails again and again despite its modifications and bloody revolutions keep happening every now and then. However people are far too slow to learn lessons from all that carry on.

82] Now the people who envied him for what he had before began to say, how terrible that we had forgotten the fact that it is indeed the set-up systems and laws of Allah that increase or decrease the provision for His human creatures as they wish by working according to His set out plan or by working against it. Had Allah not ensured our well being through granting us His guidance, we too could have ended up disgraced and destitute because it is not possible for such people to be prosperous as prevent others from accessing His provisions for them to develop and prosper.

This verse makes some very important points but the main thing is living for each other and not against each other. It is because by working together due to help and support of each other a people can expand their capacity thereby their capabilities as a proper human community. On the other hand a lot of time and energy of each person is dissipated by competing against each other for seeking dominance over each other by trying to undermine each other for monopoly over power and wealth. This is why power and wealth based pyramid scheme has no future for humanity but people as individuals have not yet realised it for themselves. The day they do the world will become a changed placed. The social, political and economic landscape will become totally transformed.

83] The best future is only for those who do not want to dominate each other by undermining each other by causing divisions therefore wars in the world because they try to be consistent with Allah and humanity due to keeping an eye at the end results of their thoughts and actions.

84] So any people who will work according to Our advised way of life that can make their world a beautiful place through their help and support of each other they will have that sort of world for themselves and those who will work according to their own way of life based upon personal gains at the expense of each other that can harm and destroy their world through their fighting with each other they will have that sort of world for themselves because those who think and do things against each other in order to harm and destroy each other the outcome of their thoughts and actions cannot be other than what they think and do to each other.

85] O messenger, rest assured that He who charged you with the mission for delivering the Quran to mankind will bring you the mankind to the very destination set by the Quran. Say, my Creator and Sustainer will make obvious such people as are based upon His guidance as well as those who have clearly gone off the way that leads to blissful, dignified and secure existence.

Word MA,AAD is from root AIN, WOW and DAAL. Concrete meaning of this root is destination. Also place of origin or return or both, goal, aim or objective, direction, outcome, result, effect, the end of a journey, graveyard, death, to make a comeback, country of origin or destination, birthplace, a place or situation more suitable for something, to put something through various changes to help it develop or progress stage by stage or step by step, to keep coming back to something, to revisit an idea or place, to revise, to renew the effort, to start something or to have another go at it, to make something reach its intended target or destination in some sense by putting it through a journey of some sort, to have capability to do something repeatedly, someone well experienced or trained or skilled in planning and doing something, stick, pole, branch of tree, to go back, to rescind, to accrue, to be accustomed, habits, to repeat, appointed time or place, anniversary, feast day, to change to, to change, to visit, to turn into, to become, to go back to a previous state or condition, to restore, to send back, to be brought back, a tribe named Aad, Eid day, festival day, a day of celebration, eye or something like an eye in some sense, hook or something like a hook in some sense, door or something like a door in some sense etc etc.

86] You O messenger did not expect that Our book will be revealed to you however it is only a program for your blissful, dignified and secure existence from your Creator and Sustainer so you should never be a supporter of those who reject and oppose Our advised way of life.

87] Let no one stop you from turning the goals and guidelines of Allah into a reality after they have been revealed to you therefore invite mankind to the message of your Creator and Sustainer and never be of those who take for rulers other than Allah

The Quran repeatedly tells mankind the purpose of its revelation and keeps telling the messenger of Allah and his supporters to go out in the world among people and spread the message so that deen of Allah could become known to people and understood properly so that then they could work properly towards establishing it faithfully for a life worth living. This is how the Quran makes absolutely clear what word JIHAAD means in the context of the Quran. That is once a person becomes aware of the message of Allah, it is then up to the person to make all necessary effort to try and understand it properly. Once it is understood properly by a person then it is his responsibility to pass on the message to others within his reach and the process must be continued till the message becomes known to all those who are supposed to be aware of it. Along the way people can come together to form an organised and regulated community based upon the Quranic guidelines and keep working that way till a kingdom based upon guidance of Allah comes about as a result of all this struggle.

88] so never invite anyone to rule of law of anyone other than Allah. It is because the right to rule over this kingdom of the universe solely belongs to Him and because all laws lead mankind to life of painful suffering save the laws based upon His guidance. Since right of ruling this kingdom of the universe belongs to Him alone therefore the right to decide about each and every affair about each and every thing also belongs to Him alone.

Word HAALIK is from root HAA, LAAM and KAAF. Concrete meaning of this root is to change from one state to another in some sense. Also changing of something from its working state to its nonworking state of existence due to breaking down in some sense, to stop working, to break down, to become dead, to perish or expire, to ruin or destroy, to annihilate or obliterate, to harm or damage, to use, devour or consume or spend, to lose one’s way, to run away fast, to vanish or disappear, to apply oneself in earnest, to do one’s utmost, to change from a living thing to a dead thing, to come to an end, to become lost, to squander or waste, to put in danger, to meet death or destruction, place or time of destruction, a destructive situation or a set of circumstances, tumult, panic, chaos, confusion, fear, terror, horror, upheaval, catastrophe, disaster, affliction, rumbling, commotion, something that takes by surprise, something that overwhelms, instability, break down of law and order, breakage, disintegration, decomposition, to become disorganised or deregulated, to become irregular, to fall, to fall down, to fail, to be unsuccessful, to fall short of, to develop a fault or defect, punishment, poor or needy people, hardship, trouble, difficulty, greedy or selfish people, to rot, to go bad, to become defeated, to accept defeat, to lose or give up hope, to become desperate, to suffer disgraced, to suffer humiliation, to be humbled, to lose freedom or prestige or honour, something that is perishable or changeable in some sense, something that is not permanent or lasting, something that keeps changing with time in some sense, something that brings about new opportunities due to changing situations or circumstances, something that does not have permanent state of existence, window or something like a window in some sense, ox-goad or something like an ox-goad in some sense, palm of hand or something like a palm of hand in some sense etc etc.

Word WAJH is from root WOW, JEEM and HAA. Concrete meaning of this root is an aspect of something which helps something to recognise it in some sense. Also the first visible part of something before the rest of it comes into view which gives a clue as to what the thing is, face, person, a way in which something can be viewed by the mind, a characteristic or feature of something, appearance of something to the eye on the face or the eye of the mind, a position facing or commanding a given direction, a side or surface facing a particular direction, a point of view, a distinct feature of something, front, facade, direction, variety, main point, correct method, person of distinction, honour, to face, to turn towards, to make for, to go for, to direct, to give directions, to guide, to turn something towards something, to draw attention of something to something, to set, to proceed towards, to head towards, to go towards, first part, initial part, the starting part, presence, purpose, goal, conviction, highly esteemed, greatly honoured, to aim for, to have as a target or objective, to be face to face with something, to be in front of something, a characteristic or property of something whereby something is recognised as to what it is, personality, attribute or quality, hook or something like a hook in some sense, camel or something like a camel in some sense, window or something like a window in some sense etc etc.

The main point in these verses is that rule of law based upon guidance of Allah gives mankind stability which no other rule of law can give. It is because the rule of law of Allah is proper ie fit for the purpose it is given for and it never changes so people always know what to expect or what is coming their way, how or why. On the other hand laws made by people themselves are improper because they are made by people with vested interests which make them biased and that way they leave a lot to desire when it comes to ensuring stability of a human society. That is because as various parties fight each other to come into power and make their own laws people have no ideas what is coming when a certain people take over the reins of power. That is because each group that comes into power will try to please its own supporters rather than supporters of opposite parties. Moreover the power and wealth based pyramid scheme does not allow any down trodden people to come into power at all other than for tokenism to fool the masses. If down trodden people will try to come into power then they too will have to become powerful and when they too will become powerful then they also will not care for others who will then become down trodden people or underclass. So no matter what the power struggle does not end at all therefore instability remains the order of the day. The only way people can get stability is by taking power and wealth away from the powerful and wealthy but in such a way that none has power over anyone in the future and all people cooperate as individuals for ensuring what is best for well being of humanity as a proper human community ie all follow guidance of Allah and decide all matter on that basis.
