AS SALAAM O ALAIKUM,
I have been trying to config ptcl wifi tenda w150d for few days and today I finally got settle it.
Put the dsl line port in wifi tenda router and open the browser this link
192.168.1.1
It will ask you for username and password.
Put admin in username and admin in password.
There will be two options EASY installation and advance Installation.
Click on Advance Installation.
- Now click on Wan Service.
- Click on Connection Setting and there will be option for EDIT.
- Click on Edit and you will see new panel where you see place for PPP username and password.
This password is from ptcl provider password. You can call at 1218 and ask them your username and password, they will tell you. Place it in box and put ADSL in PPPoE Service Name.
Now click on next and save.
Click on management and click on reboot.
Now come back again on main page and Click on Wireless and then click on Basic.
- Change the SSID name you would like to have and click on apply.
- Within Wireless, there is tab Security, Tick Enable WPS if it's not tick. at the end you will see WPA PassPhrase. Put the security password. This security password will prevent other to connect to your wifi and ask for password.
Now click on Apply and again go in management and reboot the modem.
Wait for few mints. and click on device info. You will probably see DNS server with like 182.178.etc with primary dns server and 116.71. etc with seconadary dns server. This shows that your wifi modem is config now otherwise it will show 0.0.0.0. with primary and secondary dns server.
