Tere khyaal ke pehloo se uth ke jab dekha
Mehak raha tha zamaane mein chaar su tera gham

Ghubaar-e-rang mein ras dhoondti kiran...teri dhuun
Giraft-e-sang mein bal khaati aab-e-ju.....tera gham

Nadi pe Chaand ka parto.....tera nishaan-e-qadam
Khat-e-sehar pe andheroN ka raqs....tu...tera gham

Nakheel-e-zeest ki chha'oN mein ne-ba-lab teri yaad
Faseel-e-dil ke kalas par sitaaro ju......tera gham

Tuloo-e-mehr... shaguft-e-sehar... seeyahi-e-shab
Teri talab.....tujhe paane ki aarzoo......tera gham

Niga' uthi to zamaane ke saamne tera roop
