1ST MAY ~LABOR DAY

The struggle for the 8 hours/day began in the 1860s.May 1, 1886, 21,600 works were drawn into struggle; Chicago was main center of agitation. They finally won a victory after a hard bloody fight.
On July 14, 1889 to commemorate the great workers a conference was held in Paris, in the meeting French representative proposed that the 1st May of 1886 should be set as a common festival for international proletariats.

Let’s turn to another aspect:-

Unemployment rate increasing day by day in Pakistan, daily in routine you can see thousands of laborers in your vicinity who they don’t have anything to do. They hardly survive in the ambiguous circumstances.
Unfortunately these laborers don’t have knowledge about their rights, about celebration of World Labor Day.

Here I Dedicate a poem to these laborers included Child laborers (wherever I see child labor, it left behind in my mind acrimonious grief…..
