Hadith - Al-Tirmidhi 4885, Narrated Abu Hurayrah

When they said, "Messenger of Allah, do you make jokes with us!" he replied, "I say nothing but the truth." [Tirmidhi transmitted it.]

Hadith - Abu Dawud 4782, Narrated Abu Umamah

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: I guarantee a house in the surroundings of Paradise for a man who avoids quarrelling even if he were in the right, a house in the middle of Paradise for a man who avoids lying even if he were joking, and a house in the upper part of Paradise for a man who made his character good. [Saheeh: Abu Daawood and al-Bayhaqee, authenticated by al-Albaanee in as-Saheehah]

The Noble Qur'an Al-Hajj 22:30

...shun lying speech (false statements)

According to hadiths and the holy Qura'n, we can say that "JOKES" and make fun of another person is not allowed.. it will say that, even U just try to joke.. U should say the truth.. ..
