Mai hon tera kheyal hai aur chand raat hai
Dil dard se nidhal hai aur chand raat hai

Ankhon me chob gaen teri yadon ki kirchiyan
Kandhon pe gham ki shal hai aur chand raat hai

Dil toor k khamosh nizaron ka kia mila?
Shabnam ka ye sawal hai aur chand raat hai

Phir titliayan si orane lagen dashat khawab me
Phir khawaish-e-wasal hai aur chand raat hai

Campas ki nehar par hai tera hath hath me
Mausam bhi lazawal hai aur chand raat hai

Har ik kali ne orah lia matami libas
Har phol par malal hai aur chand raat hai

Meri to por por me khoshbo si bus gai
Us par tera kheyal hai aur chand raat hai

Chalka sa parh raha hai ............. wehshaton ka rang
