Tamam din ki kari dhoop me yeh sochta hon
Me shab k pichle pehr ka hiraas ho jaoon

Ap apne waste tujhe mangne se khauf se khasuf aye
Tu hath utha ke teri iltimaas ho jaoon

Bujhe bujhe hui ankhon ki tergi ki qasam
Tujhe parhon tou sitara shanas ho jaon

Khushi milli tou kai dard mujh se rooth gaey
Dua karo k me phir se udaas ho jaoon

Meri kitab k unwaan zara qarib ayo
Me apne aap tera iqtibaas ho jaon
