wo lot ane ke raste talash kerti thi

gali main derd ke purze talash kerti thi,
meray khatot ke tukre talash kerti thi.
bhulaye kon aziat pasandian us ki,
khushi ke dher main sadmay talash kerti thi,
ajab hijar parasti thi us ki fitrat main,
shajar ke tootey pate talash kerti thi,
ghuma phira ke judai ki baat kerti thi,
hamesha hijar ke herbe talash kerti thi,
duain kerti thi ujre hoe mazaron per,
bare ajeeb sahare talash kerti thi,
mujhay to ajj bataya hai badlon ne,
wo lot ane ke raste talash kerti thi,
