tum chale gaye aur tasveer tumhari reh gayi
kehnewala thi jo baate wo saari reh gayi
tumhari yaad ne kal bahut sataya mujhe
meri aankhon me dekho kaisi khumari reh gayi
ibteda-e-ishq me yun garm hue the
magar ab shola-e-jaan sard hua,
bas Ek chingaari reh gayi
hua jab ilm ke, wo aaj bhi nahi aaye
husn aur ishq ki saari taiyyari reh gayi
ajab jazbaat se usne jo pukaara mujhe
hayaa ankhon me, chehre pe sharm-saari reh gayi
