Directed by Karan Malhotra and produced by Karan Johar, Agneepath 2012 is a remake of 1990 cult classic of the same name starring Amitabh Bachchan in the lead. Sony Music Entertainment has acquired the rights to distribute the music of this much awaited film Agneepath 2012, starring Hrithik Roshan, Sanjay Dutt and Priyanka Chopra while Katrina Kaif doing an item song for the movie.

The music album of this film is composed by musical duo Ajay-Atul boasts of six tracks encompassing a wide array of themes - from romance to qawwali and from dance to devotional. The soundtrack features singers like Sonu Niigaam, Roop Kumar Rathod and Shreya Ghoshal.
