Shahid Afridi new record
 
Shahid Afridi, with 318 Wickets, is now 10th leading wicket-taker in history of ODI Cricket. He surpassed India's Javegal Srinath, who had 315 ODI Wickets.

Leading ODI Wicket-taker is Sri Lankan wizard Muttiah Muralitharan with 534 Wickets. But now there are three Pakistan bowlers - Wasim Akram (2), Waqar Younis (3) and Shahid Afridi (10) - among top ten wicket-takers.

Moreover, Afridi is fourth leading spinner in terms of wickets. Other three are; Muralitharan (534 wkts), Anil Kumble (337 wkts) and Sanath Jaysuriya (323 wkts).
