Lost in an ocean of ignorance and deception,
I lose all my senses of thought and perception,

As the waves gain strength and grow higher, my grip grows stronger..
and when the waves are still and the water is calm, I become like the ocean relaxed and calm..

Not knowing what lies ahead, I watch the winds closely,
Of all the dangers that surround me, I fear only one mostly,

being Vulnerable and helpless, I begin to lose all hope,
Then GOD the most merciful, sends me a sign and gives me some rope,

I see land in the horizon suddenly appear,
Right then and there I forget about all of my fears,

I begin to think about how I have been stuck on this boat for years,
Then the boat that I am on suddenly fills with tears,

It begins to sink and I swim to the land,
I pull myself ashore, dragging my body along the sand.

I regain my consciousness after a while,
Then I look to the sky and thank GOD with a smile.
