I am your ocean and YOU are my sand

I am your ocean and YOU are my sand
my waves crash against the body of your land

eroding its foundation mixing into the waters
sometimes murky but from the sun rays

always clear and blue when you are hot
the rush of my waves cool you there is so much of you

who can really keep count there is so much of me
who can dare to find the bottom only the sand

that bravely lays in my ocean bed
peacefully, calmly the gentle breeze blows you

around endlessly the winds are our voices
that speak for the sand and the ocean -

sometimes whispering while other times singing
a melody that only the two hearts can hear.
