Na Jaane kyun,
teri julfein ghaneri,
yaad aatee hain,
Chamkate Chand se,
Roshan wo ratein,
yad aateen hain.

Nigahe Naz wo,
Sharm-o-hayaa ka ek,
samandar sa,
Na Jane Kyon teri sanse,
mahktee yad aatee hain.

Koi aahat, koi aawaaz,
na ab koi chhaap hai

Ye rahen hai wahi jinme,
tere afsane rahte the

Besud nikle tujhe ghar se,
bhi kafee der ho chuki
Na jane kyun dile-besuda,
teri yad aatee hai
